I hope it's right. All those that think THC are far superior can sit on their piles of money set aside and wait for that magic circle outside the top hats (OMG!!!) to take pics and post here while at the same time be afraid to use them because their investment may depreciate.

I'll take the same chip that is prone to flea bites (OMG nooooze!) for 1/3 the price please.

*Not a dig at you Danny, but this mentality that the whole community seems to have embraced is mind boggling to me... but then again so is a $10,000 set of custom BCC's or a $27K set of fantasy chips, so I may be the crazy one.

I’m with ya bud!! Totally. My comment came from the fact that I have so many RHC’s! And honestly, while I do have many minty chips it’s only because the games haven’t been available for me to use them!! What I always say is that they’re not poker chips if you can’t play poker with em!!! Who wants to sweat worrying someone will nick a chip?? Not me. My next game will see those brand new 5-0 year old pick hobsons splashing around!!! Lol

To each their own, but are there really that many PCFers out there who don’t actually get their sets into play?

I have some sets that are certainly worth some money, but I can assure you that every set in my collection gets felted without hesitation.

It’s crazy to me that he never got to see the acclaim of his work. I’ve heard nothing but great things.

Some of the sets and prices we've seen recently are certainly mind boggling, but in spite of being a cheap ass myself, and a relatively new collector of poker chips, I can certainly see the allure that THC has over RHC. And there is another option for us tight wads who want that "outer circle" and also want to put our sets into regular play. Casino used THCs are magnificent chips, in my opinion. And if you're patient and picky, you can find nice ones (spotted) for not much more than RHC. There are certainly lots of very lovely RHC chips out there, but they just don't do anything for me, especially once they have been put into play.
