So I've had my Elite Paulson (not Paulson) chip samples for a couple of days, I've slept on it, shuffled them, and here's my final verdict:
PROS: The colors are bright, they handle and shuffle nicely, they are light, very bold design, you can very clearly see chip denoms from across the table, clear design, they stack nicely, they're smooth like their casino cousins
CONS: The white spot is dirty on the chip faces after two days, I don't want to have to clean my chips after every handling, they are very slick, as other posters mentioned the inlay covers almost the entire chip face, the 100 and 25,000 are indistinguishable color-wise (not the end of the world), I always fancied that lighter is better but these are almost weirdly too light - the few casino Paulsons I have stick together better because they're less slick and a touch more weighty, I'm actually not in love with the design (honestly I think the labels on my Milano chips look better and they're a fraction of the cost), the design behind the number is pretty busy
So, in conclusion, it's not the set for me. I chose Horseshoe Cincinatti for my profile pic because those are the chips I fancy and want to get. I don't have hundreds or thousands lying around so I'm going to collect them bit by bit. My next buy is a sample or a barrel of those. Thanks for listening!
