So - hopefully someone on here snagged these. I messaged seller, but sale already pending - oh well. Heck of a deal for someone. I never know how to feel when a seller severely underprices something.

Cool dimes

Craigs List??

FB Marketplace. They were/are listed as $ or best offer, so rather not step on toes if another PCFer found them for an amazing deal. I didn't offer more when seller said "pending." However, if it's not someone on here - I'm tempted to see how 'pending' they really are.

Feel free to make offers. He's been offered 100+shipping (getting a quote) by someone in CT. There's plenty of value here, I like the nickels, quarters and see plenty of value, but I have other IRL stuff that I need to address more than something that I'll probably just leave on the shelf (no regular games) and flip later.

@Daddy N hopefully this isn't you...

Lol nobody has money to snipe these.

Yeah, someone in CT got an amazing deal :D I asked the guy for a price to just sell them outright - that I didn't want to get into a bidding war. Don't think he thought I was serious.

I bought these for $120 shipped. They were listed for local pickup just inside my search radius but he was amenable to shipping. The chips are hotstamped with initials on the other side and the case has a engraved plaque.

Thanks to everyone for being chill. Looking to clean these up and use them as an alternate set for a side game during my holiday tournaments.

Nice grab. Hopefully you think of me if you move them on. I could have started the bidding wars :P (Well I guess that I did try, just no one heeded the call). I didn't see you on the PCFers list for CT, so didn't call you out. lol

Told him I would have easily gone 150 after he shipped. didn't want to say I thought they were worth 300+

Curious - when did you float the $100 offer though? He didn't say much to me except pending when I inquired originally.

I saw the post Sunday night but ignored it and felt sad because I didn't want to drive to NJ. Monday morning I decided to check to see if he'd ship and floated $100 shipped at 9AM. He replied within 10 minutes and agreed to sell them at the price an hour or so later. I offered to pay a little extra if shipping was expensive. He boxed them yesterday evening and asked me for $20 extra when he was at the post office today to cover the rest of the shipping. Very responsive and pleasant seller to work with. He was looking forward to marking the sale closed because he was getting a lot of messages. :LOL: :laugh:

I will definitely return to this thread if I ever need to let them go. I mostly lurk but pop in from time to time to see if there's anything I can add to my main set (Scandias/Gambler's Pleasure 1ks/WTH&C 5ks). This was a very good deal and it's a wonky set but they will be used!

The chips and some desjgn set-ups I ordered last night arrive Thursday. I am supposed to host a tutorial game for my fiancee and her friends some night soon so hopefully they will get used in the next couple weeks. I spent the last few weeks refurbishing a table so I am hoping to host a lot more live games this winter.
