Thoughts?

Phone is acting up, cant add URL but this is the item number on eBay: 331693040800

Seller is in UK, 100% positive feedback, I'd be tempted but I dunno about the breakdown and feel too new to trust myself to be making the right decision...

PS if the seller is a PCF member, hi.

Can't go wrong with that price. Now I'm tempted lol ;)

Breakdown is a bit tricky, depends what you want to use it for.

Yeah I saw them and thought, "hello sexy" - obviously the £200 price is just the starting bid, but there is only one day left.... Could be a good deal for somebody here, if so I'm glad I could bring it a wider audience!

If anyone does wind up buying these and does not need the 50 yellow chips, I can use them. Send a PM and let me know. Thanks.

They've been listed a couple of times before with no bites. The seller is (was?) on ct back in the day, he made poker tables if I recall. Nice set, I'm sure the backstory was he got them for steal and played with them once or twice.

So are the starburst chips a "less premium" Paulson chip? Just seems cheap. If these were on same in the States, d'you think they'd have more interest?

Nope...they are the real deal. Some people just wanted a starburst on their chips instead of initials, denoms, etc. part of what keeps the price down on his particular lot is probably the breakdown, and th fact that adding on to this set would take some time as spotted starbursts aren't all that common. I just happen to have need of the greens and blacks.

I wouldn't call them less premium either. They don't/didn't allow blanks out the door (although I have seen a few spotted blanks over the years) so there had to be something (stamp, inlay) on the chip.
