^this could be a consideration.More artwork fees then.
Going with a real artist might cost me $$$$$.
Not sure I mocking multiple cars will drive that up even further

I do like the aggression of the look
How about something like this, different body style, still relatively same era.
Or potentially a 1963 Ford Mustang?

If you want to practice of course you can try using any of the photos.Mind if I have a go at this just for 'practice'? I have Illustrator, and although primarily I use Photoshop, converting photos to vector images it pretty straightforward.
I'm not saying I can do anything of any use for you, just more to use the pictures you've posted to practice on.
I think I'm going to take some liberties here. The most accurate cars look almost identical to his. (Ford Lightweight for example) In the interest of the look I'm willing to go a little offline here. I'm leaning heavily towards the 1963 Mustang prototype. For me personally, I'd want the villain car(s) to be historically accurate. There should be several candidates in his 1964 era race class that would be suitable. Contact NHRA for historical details if necessary.

I'm using the photos as an example of the shots I want but then I am transplanting my father's car into it. So it takes a deft hand. FYI I have a guy on it now who is a top notch artist. So most likely you wouldn't be able to top what he probably will do. But if you want to practice please feel free to take a stab.I'll have a go over the weekend. Are you just looking for a graphical representation of the photo? Do you have examples of what you want the image to look like?
