For the last month I've really had the Boveda acrylic humidors under control:

My plan is to raise the humidity back up relative to the temperature as we head into the warmer months.

New big red is doing just fine:

*big dip today is me re-organizing with the lid open for a while.

Can't wait for warmer months and to stop being ill all winter long.

Ho. Lee. Crap.

Okay people, mentioned it in my auction but my 30th birthday is coming up and I'm looking to pick up a box. I'm not into the very fine things, I don't think I'd appreciate a $50 cigar but I want something to share.

My loves: Guardian of the Farm, Deadwood's Fat Bottom Betty, most maduros Ive encountered.
Hate: Gurkhas.

Any ideas between $75-175 for a solid box to share with the neighborhood? 10+ cigars. Again, not looking for the fanciest but better than a cheap sampler.

Are any of the people you are sharing with cigar smokers? If not, I would recommend something lighter.

Fuente 8-5-8, Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne or even Oliva Connecticut Reserve

People who don't smoke cigars are likely not going to enjoy a full flavor or full strength cigar.

If all of them are noobs - you might even consider an ACID flavored cigar.

Can’t go wrong with the 8-5-8

Okay, good point. Its me and 3 other friends who smoke regularly and will appreciate plus like 5-8 random people who have maybe 1 before. Ive got a standing stock of Factory Smokes and lighter Connecticuts but maybe I should grab something special that everyone can enjoy.

No flavored on my property. Theyll bring their vapes if they want strawberry tailfeather flavor.

The issue I've found is that something special to you and your three friends will be half smoked and lost upon the other 7.

The "special" is the quality time spent enjoying the cigar, the beverage, and the people - and not the stick choice. Not for them anyway.

Make sure everyone eats before!!

Never used the page, used CI and foxcigar, you trust that site? Thanks for the recommendation, this looks perfect.
I’ve ordered from them on multiple occasions and never had any issues. @CraigT78 makes some great points and recommendations as well.
These may be a little robust for some newer smokers in your group.

I have a suggestion, little more expensive, online about 10 a stick, brick n mortar look to pay 12 to 14

The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos

https://www.jrcigars.com/item/artur...ng=en_US&q=don+carlos&jrSubmitButton=&start=1

The Fuente name, combined with top Cameroon wrappers and fine Dominican long-filler tobaccos make this well-aged cigar a highly sought after commodity. Each exquisitely rolled specimen delivers flavors of nuttiness, sweetness, earth, and a very smooth black pepper through the retrohale. Enjoy it on it's own, or pair this one up with your favorite single-malt — either way, you're going to enter complete bliss.

Ugh, that looks incredible. Wow. If my auction takes off Ill treat myself, otherwise these will be for another time or I might grab a single instead.

You might want to think about getting some mixed samplers. You'll have something for everyone.

Here are a few pretty good ones.

https://www.holts.com/samplers/all-cigar-samplers/oliva-celebration-sampler.html

Here, the AJ cameroon will be on the lighter side, then the Enclave and New World gordo in the middle. The last 2 are stronger and the best of the pack.

More to look through: https://www.holts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=sampler

Something significantly lighter for the newbies that the crusty old timers :p might also enjoy is Dumbarton Sobremesa Brulee “Blue”
Love the Sobremesa Brulees - Blue or regular.

Another suggestion I'll throw out is the Oliva Serie G - another stick with a Cameroon wrapper that is good for newbies, but might also be appreciated by more experienced cigar enthusiasts.

This looks like a killer deal…

So, I’ve bought cigars online more than a few times. I’ve also bought alcohol online more than a few times. This site is asking me to scan my photo ID for age purposes. This is a first. Wondering if you or anyone else has experienced this on other sites?

Thanks
