How do they compare to the Serie V Melanio? That is a staple in my humidor.Nicest physical box I've gotten.

I made a batch with spiced rum once. Turned out pretty good and tasty.I am going to try spice my cigar with tequila...
I just ordered the sampler set pictured. I'm excited to try it.

Angel's Envy and Brickhouse...it was a good weekend.

Hmmm. I find the Melanios to be pretty clearly above the Vs, but the Vs are great, so it’s like saying I like a really, really nice Ferrari versus a normal Ferrari.I may be in the minority, but I like Serie V better than SVM. Melanio is lighter to me and doesn't quite have the flavor as SV. This is a prime example [for me at least] where the higher priced cigar is not as good. Don't get me wrong, I still like SVM a lot. Brick House, not so much. Angel's Envy goes well with a cigar with its port finish.

Completely subjective.Minority I will be. It's subjective like one time a friend gave his cousin a great My Father and the cousin didn't like it. He couldn't finish half of it. I gave him a cheapo, but good for the price and he loved it. I said, "Damn man, I wish we could have just traded before you lit it."
Completely understand. I have brands that I simply have not found a cigar I can stomach. I'm talking about you Perdomo and AVO.Completely subjective.
Have you tried Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro or Habano? I agree with AVO. I only like a few CAOs, but much better than AVO. Now Gurkhas, don't get me started. So overrated. Fits my Marine friend to a tee though. The biggest deception in the cigar industry is Davidoff. So over priced and 86% not good unless you like light cigars.Completely understand. one of the best samplers you can findI just ordered the sampler set pictured. I'm excited to try it.

Yep, yep, yep. The Perdomo Maduros are good stuff. I also like the champagnes for a lighter, casual smoke. Have yet to try any of the CAO samples I have. Don’t have any AVOs. Still waiting for one of the Davidoff samples I have to impress. I am not optimistic.Have you tried Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro or Habano? I agree with AVO. I have not tried the Maduro. Funny you mentioned CAO. The CAO maduro used to be my go to 2 decades ago. I will give it a try.Have you tried Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro or Habano? The champagne was probably the biggest disappointment for me. I was so excited to try that cigar and it tasted like I was smoking a cigar.Yep, yep, yep. The Perdomo Maduros are good stuff. Well, you were, in fact, smoking a cigar. The champagne was probably the biggest disappointment for me. I was so excited to try that cigar and it tasted like I was smoking a cigar.
I meant to say a cigarette. LOL!!!!Well, you were, in fact, smoking a cigar.
It sounds like you prefer heavier smokes so not a huge surprise that the champagne wasn’t your cup of tea.
Frozen pipes, barking puppy, battling in laws, all handled. Now Laphroaig and Romeo&Juliet. Peace in way below freezing. But quiet!

Ever watched The Sopranos? End of Season 3, no spoilers but Tony is done cleaning up Janice's mess and just sits for a second, and this song plays.
Yeah man. Worth the frozen hands, felt good to just sit and stare for a bit after the craziness. Living in a college town and this time of year its a ghosttown.i'd give a lot for some quiet
