PCF Cigars (8 Viewers)

Man, I just had one of the best nights nights (with my pants on, sorta thing) in a while.

Let work early to hit the cigar shops "early" before they close (I rarely leave before 5 pm). Was hoping to pick up some Picadores amongst others, but they were out of those (apparently quite rare here north of the wall) as well as the Oliva Robusto Maduro. Picked up some others as well as El Ray de Mundo that the seller recommended insted of the Picadores. I haven't tried either of them so I was like eh, way not. The others I picked up were Arturo 858 and Mil Dias where the latter is the only one I've had before.

Anyways, had a cheap ass dinner because I'm lazy and nested in on my my massive 2m2 / 21ft2 balcony with a Havana Club 15 year, a chocolate bar, Mongo IPA and La Aroma del Caribe Edicion Especial #5 (Belicoso). Edit: Oh, and listening to old reggea.

That was the best cigar I've had in a good while. Granted, I've been dumpster diving for a while as our currency has de-evaluated close to 50% the last few years vs the USD, so I've been looking for some cheap alternatives but man!

So I was sitting there, drinking Havana 15, Mango IPA, smoking this faux-Cuban while reading Mastering Small Stakes PLO: How To Crush Modern PLO Games on my Kindle and suddenly having this epiphany;
I'd be the worst viking in the history of man...

I'm going to use the foam for my Apache case. I have some odd spaces that I need to fill in.

Very interesting smoke earlier this afternoon. First third had strong coffee and cocoa notes. Very distinct. Blended into herbal notes, almost like burnt tea leaves, and cedar. Unfortunately, and I’ve seen reviews that also say this, the final third got very mellow and could barely even get anything on the retrohale.

First two thirds delivered something cool though.

Enjoyed the heck out of it Mike. Was great catching up with you. First time I’ve ever smoked a cigar and watched my friend get a massage and smoke a cigar at the same time.  :ROFLMAO:

First time for everything. Great seeing you at DID my friend.

Absolutely a pleasure as always!!! First time indeed!

Had my first Picadores tonight. Wow, what an amazing cigar!

Managed to track down some Picadores here and agreed, what a joy! They cost $20 here which is fairly good considering the insane tobacco tax we have here. Gonna buy a handful more before they wise up.

Also, another interesting fact I found out. Well, interesting for me, not for you ;) I can't buy cigars from abroad. Or rather, if I do, they need big, fat warnings in Norwegian on them so that's not gonna happen. This also means that if I buy anything abroad and try to bring them home, I have to take them out of the box so they're loose. Also there's a 100g limit so that's like 4-5 cigars anyways.

....We got free health care at least!

Edit: The warning has to be on any box they come with. There's noting in the law about loose cigars, but there's a max limit on tobacco I can bring with med (100g).
Double edit: Most cigars here are $20 - $40 per. I bought some My Father Le Bijou 1922 and they were $25 the first time and $30 a month later. And this was pre-covid. Still got two though!
Tripple edit: I'm charmingly drunk so errors occur. My Le Bijou 1922 MFer is a torpedo so I'm not sure which one is mine.

Where are you in Norway and what do you do there?
