PCF Cigars (8 Viewers)

I'm thinking of doing a few days in Havana before my Vegas trip, flying from Cuba to USA, essentially. What's the deal with bringing Cubans into the USA? Is it still a complete no-go?

You have to smoke them while you are in Cuba. You can no longer bring them into the US. We had a run of about 6 years when you could. I thought we'd be moving forward not backwards. I guess I'll never see the day when we can buy Cubans in our local shops. Makes me very sad.

There go my plans then! Cheers for the heads up.

Lots of people around here relable chips... Why not bring some domestic labels along to Cuba and make a custom set of stogies? ;)

Juan Lopez is an underrated stick. Many years ago Total Wine had them for $3 a stick. I bought every damn one of them when they were in stock.

Edit: Oh, you are talking about Cuban Juan's. Never had one. I'm sure they are great.

@jr8719 This. Hypothetically, bring some UK or other labels and slide on and say they are from the UK if you are even asked about them by customs which is doubtful. Just put them in your carry on but not with any type of torch lighter or something metallic that is going to trigger interest.. Worst that will happen is they will confiscate them. Just don't try to bring in a ton of them and you should be ok. Put the OG labels in a book or something and you can slide them back on once you arrive. This is all hypothetical of course...

I wouldn't confirm or deny if I had done that before the good years of Cubans in the USA

If you go to Havana let me know if you have any questions. And make sure to stop at the Hotel Nacional!!!
This would be my second time there, but never actually went to the Hotel Nacional — so will have to give it a go, for sure.

Did most of my cigar shopping and smoking at the cigar shop inside Conde de Villanueva.

There's a casa del habano in the basement, and the terrace is a great place for a smoke.
