PCF Cigars (8 Viewers)

Ordered these on a friends recommendation from Cigarpage.com, not bad considering the price point.
Picked up a 10 pack on sale for $55ish.

Got this off Amazon. Love it. Holds a box or more depending on girth. For the OOCT :)

Add 2 69 Boveda packs, plus you can hide your weed in there.

Does the black plastic tube have any structure inside or are sticks just loose?

I've got what looks like a heavy duty canvas bag that I pop the tupperdors into and cutters/lighters go into the front pouch. It's a bit rustic but it gets the job done. It is good for seeing a lot of friends or when I'm bringing over a selection of things to smoke. Recently, a friend got me something like this:

after I provided cigars for his bachelor party(he knew even less about cigars than I do!). It doesn't hold much, but it's good for just going over to see a friend or two and want to bring some sticks along without worrying about lugging stuff around. Has just enough room for a cutter and a smaller lighter and a pouch to hold a boveda but it doesn't seal really so I wouldn't want to leave anything in there for too long.

Sticks are loose, which I like. You can get a bunch of sticks in there.

I am starting to get confused by Fuente. Are there multiple Shark cigars? Or is this the No. 77?
Multiple "sharks" - a shark is a box press that turns into a torpedo end. The Anejo and Opus both have one in style, not sure if there others.

I had the Opus X Shark today.

This is knowledge. I feel like I just broke the Fuente sound barrier. I have a slew of the Añejo Sharks, no Opus Sharks.

Don't do it. If you want the best cheap lighter, the answer is Vertigo.

My favorite is clear (easy to see the fuel level) with twist bottom to adjust the flame. I hate getting a small screw driver for that. Not sure they make those anymore as I can't find them online.

This looks like the twist bottom, different model than I have. I've had a lot of cheap lighters that last 6 mths, but the Vertigo usually last 2+ years. The fuel lines tend to get clogged. When it doesn't light, a quick twist back and forth with the twist bottom seems to clear it up.

And if you want the best (more) expensive lighter I love my St DuPont Defi Extreme. I also have a ligne 2 I got myself as a birthday present a few years back and the pair is *chef’s kiss*. Torch with defi and then finish lighting on the soft flame ligne 2

Holy shit! Single torch for $250? That's like boat chip prices for lighters. I could never do it, fearing I'd lose it. How long do they last?

Interesting. Yeah, honestly, the whole Fuente line is a bit complicated. There’s like a billion options, just in the Fuente section to Tampa Sweethearts. Wild.

It's fun trying them, but after a few years I've settled into smoking the same ~10 sticks - I like them, I know what to expect, and they are available because I've bought a box.

Still fun to see what's new or available when they release, but I've stopped the hunt.

The fuel lasts by far longer than any other single torch I’ve used.

It’s also the most precise torch and so doesn’t need to go as high for as long.

Lastly, it really does work at any temperature, better than any other torch I’ve used (I’m a warm blooded New England boy and smoking outside in winter doesn’t scare me away)

Is that all worth $250? Idk, but I got tired of replacing $20 torches, having them not work as consistently, or having to refill them constantly.

Sorry, I didn't mean how long does the fuel last, but how long does the lighter typically last (if you know). Maybe you've only bought 1, but how long have you had it?

I’ve had it 3 years and it’s not going anywhere. I believe they’re made in China (as opposed to the more expensive St DuPonts made in France) but they’re quite high quality.

There’s a plastic cover over the actual housing (the black bits that go over the edge and stick up a bit are plastic) that’s just glued on which I discovered one time when attempting to take it apart (long story) that I think would be the highest risk for breaking but those have shown no sign of wear and I’m not particularly kind with mine. It gets tossed in my work bag and in pockets all the time and it’s fine.

They’re solid.
