FYI, I need a RB2 and I’m willing to make a trade if anyone is interested in moving a RB.

I’ll take him. You can have my kickerYou can have Jonathan Taylor....
Yup. I think so.I’ve got a question. I just tried to pick up that other Chiefs TE, Noah gray, to start him tonight. It wanted me to put in a FAAB bid and said I could have him tomorrow.
That stinks.
But my question is, is this a Thursday night issue, is this a day after the draft issue, or would I run into this same problem if I tried to pick up a guy on a Sunday morning?
Not sure what you mean by humble pie. You’re projected to score the most points in week 1. You got two top 10 QBs, a stud WR, and enough mid-tier talent so that you have no holes.Well well shiet... another year, another draft, and I get served another slice of humble pie. Guess I should've known better, I mean who else but "ringers" voluntarily sign up for a 14 deep super flex league right?
This year I really wanted to mimic my main Family League by adjusting the starting roster positions & reducing the bench too, but I was afraid some GMs might freak out or find it too challenging. From the level of fantasy knowledge and expertise displayed at the draft, I can see my fears were unfounded.
The NFL has truly become a pass-centric league & pass catchers are plentiful. If y'all return for Season 3, be prepared to see an additional WR/TE flex spot and a reduced bench to 4 players next year. Basically eliminating one Bench & just plugging that "bench player" into the starting lineup.
11 starters/4 bench/1 IR for 2024.
I just meant that other GMs drafted more skillfully than i anticipated & I didn't expect my W/R/T flex to be so weak. But like u said, it sorta all boils down to which stud you're willing to overpay for and how soon u wanna jump in the bidding frenzy to start blowin' your $200 bankroll. Not sure what you mean by humble pie. It’s all fun and games until Stafford gets traded to the Jets!I applaud the $100 faab bid on Puka. I think his range of outcomes are everything up to and including Cooper Kupp. And a rookie WR who busts out in week 1 is actually a decent bet. I bid $37 thinking that should do it, and it was one of those situations where I was thinking if I thought it would take more to get the job done, I might as well push all-in. I was right about that, now let’s wait and see if we’re right about Puka.
I don’t have a lot of experience with faab leagues, but if this guy turns out to be as good as I think he will be, that’s probably worth the whole $100 in a 14 teamer.
Who put in $100 on him? If their team is absolutely solid filled with DFS1, TE1, etc., then I could see mayyyyybe. We’ve all been filled with regret ending the season never going all in on a player and having leftover monies.I applaud the $100 faab bid on Puka. It was my first time doing a draft like this and it took me 4 players in to realize I f'd up. I saw all the players I actually wanted go for less than I had spent on the same position. Lesson learned - be patient! But like u said, it sorta all boils down to which stud you're willing to overpay for and how soon u wanna jump in the bidding frenzy to start blowin' your $200 bankroll.
i won't ask for much; as long as I beat either @JRald07 or @ChipFinderSK once I'll be happy. Congrats @Josh Kifer you've already soared pass expectations haha.I'm in first for one week. Past that, I expect to lose the rest of the season.

Both of your final projected points makes it almost too close to call. GL @JRald07, GL @quintooo

Btw would that be a Beef Chalupa supreme, Beef Taco supreme, or Beef Burrito supreme?... I'm always thinking that ur team name is incomplete.

I thought it was over when Swift, Hockenson, and Smith boomed so hard. Then D Jones and Moss really pulled through for me. Good luck Jason, if I lose, I'm coming for you personally at this weeks poker game.Well u guys asked for it, this is turning into one epic Week 2 battle.

I couldn't help it... I found a video that showed the injury. It did not look good.Watching my 1st pick and 25%+ of my salary cap for the draft getting carted off the field due to a gruesome injury:
You did well to unload Dobbins on me before he got hurt week 1 lol.Got 'em. But I accidentally got stoned AF during the draft and ended up with no QBs. Maybe I had one? Whatever, I had to trade all my players already. And I'm willing to trade more. LET'S MAKE A DEAL!
Regardless of how u screwed up at the draft, I applaud you @Mondaynight for not just laying down & throwin' in the towel. I'm all for a competitive league and it's good to see when lower ranked teams still actively try to improve their squads via waivers and/or trades.Got 'em. Yep... I'm just an NFL insider playing the long-game with some poker chip nuts.@Mondaynight if you knew this was coming, kudos to you for swindling me
did you just call me a lower ranked team? TO MY FACE?Regardless of how u screwed up at the draft, I applaud you @Mondaynight for not just laying down & throwin' in the towel. Speaking of trades, this league is Commish reviewed because I will push through most if Not ALL trades. My only criteria is simply that "both managers are tying to improve their squads to win." This is to encourage trading if u feel the need to improve your team.
I used to be a supporter of League Voting but I finally turned the corner about 7 years ago. I would often see that trades were being rejected because other managers "thought the trade was too lopsided" or didn't want another team to improve for fear of having to play them later down the road, which is horse manure.
My personal ah-ha moment was when I realized that if I make a trade that's to my advantage I would not want other managers Voting to block me from improving my team. Bottom line is every person has a functioning brain and paid their entry fee, they should be entitled to manage their team how they see fit.
(Getting off my soapbox now, play on folks.)
