What do these things have in common?

Casablanca, Oceanside Card Club, house molds, RHC chips, hot stamps, plastic chips

None of them have come even close to winning one of the "favorite chip" polls. Now mind you, it is still possible that one could. There are a few colors remaining. But if they can't beat out their fellow losers in a simple weed out contest, how will they ever beat the best THC chips (that always win)?

After I run through the colors, and a Paulson THC chip has won them all, I may do it again, but disqualify any chip with a hat and cane in the mold. House molds and TRK chips would have a shot!

Any red $5s poll that doesn't at least include the Nevada Lodge $5, the Binion's WSOP T5, and the Player's $5 is eligible for collusion charges IMO.

Picked 3, with only 1 top hat. It's a nice mold, but honestly, the edge spots and base color are 10x more important to me, and that's where a lot of the others fall flat.

Surprised there aren't any prettier reds on the list, also that the Dunes isn't getting more love.

Is the Bellagio really that great? Is it getting so much love because it's a $25K or because it's a great chip? If it was a $5, would it be doing as well? I don't understand how the Dunes isn't running away with this.....but admittedly, I am pretty biased in that regard.

Can’t argue with their terrible track record.

For those having trouble, this is not the red competition. These are the shittiest half of the chips that were nominated. None of these will win best red chip. I don’t want them clogging up the main contest. So here they are. A few will survive to the main contest.

These chips are like Urkel showing up for a football tryout. Or Donald Trump arriving at a humility contest. Or Phil Hellmuth coming to a cash game. They are outclassed. But people nominated them, so I will give them their shot.
