Always tough to read posts like yours. Sorry for the loss of your pal.
R.I.P Grady, 2004-2017. You were a very good boy, and we will miss you a lot..
Just got back home from the Vet emergency clinic. Sleeping peacefully at 9 p.m., he started getting restless and pacing around midnight, throwing up clear mucous at 2 a.m., could barely stand or walk by 3:00, rushed to the clinic and gone by 4:00 a.m.. Internal organ catastrophe, including bloat and likely multiple tumors.

I'll get some pics up later today.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. We knew the end was coming relatively soon -- 13 is pretty old for a Weimaraner, and he's had a few recent heath episodes -- but the super-quick downturn caught us by surprise. Grady had a good, long, pampered life, and thankfully didn't suffer much at the end. Hope I can be so lucky.
Damn, that picture belongs in an SPCA commercial with Sarah Mclaughlin singing in the background.
Black panther? Lol.... looks like a solid sized cat
Yeah, he's about 18-19 pounds. The two cats were a package deal with my wife. I never had cats growing up (only dogs). It took a little while for us to warm up to each other, and for me to realize the differences between cats and dogs. The funny thing is, we have the same personality. He's like the cat version of me, and vice versa. (Including the fact that neither of us miss many meals)
It cracks my wife up, and even my father-in-law made note of it, when they were visiting a few weeks ago. Any fall weekend in our house, you can find the two of us sprawled on the couch, watching football together!(y)
