Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a set of brand new Paulson H/C chips, which came in their factory blue box. I've done quite a bit of searching to try to gather some information about them, but have come up empty. I'm assuming they're fairly old as their box has faded, and I can't find any information whatsoever on the company's name/address/phone# that's on the sticker of the box. There are 100 chips total with $1/$5/$10/$25/$50/$100 denominations, and "VC Corp" is hotstamped on the reverse side. Searching for that company comes up empty as well, outside of a communications company from Vietnam (which I highly doubt is related to these).

I'm assuming that Paulson once took customer requests to make non-casino hotstamped chips like these? If so, the only guesses I can come up with are that these may have been a gift from Hannover's Inc (sticker on box) to "VC Corp", or that "VC Corp" was a subsidiary of Hannover's Inc. I just wanted to take a long shot and post them here to see if anyone has any info or even guesses as to what/where these could be from. Any input would be much appreciated.

I found this, but dunno if it applies:
Vietnam Communications Corporation (VC Corp) is a leading internet company in Vietnam, with top products in online content, e-commerce, social media, ad networks and mobile value added services. Together, they create the largest ecosystem of online and mobile services in Vietnam.

There are others (Virtual Communications, etc.) that it may represent. But I could not find a match for the logo anywhere.

Oh my god! @BGinGA saw a poker chip and didn't know every detail about who owned it, where it was made, what phase of the moon was in when it was made, or who has the hot stamp mold and what condition it's in. You're slipping man!;)

Did a little more searching, but not coming up with much. Nothing on Hannover's in Colorado, although the business address on the box is now occupied by a heating/cooling contractor (the property was last sold in 1992).

Not sure if Hannover's was a distributor who purchased chips from Paulson for customers. You might try asking on TheChipBoard; those guys are the experts when it comes to obscure chips.

EDIT: But I'm pretty sure that Paulson still has the hot stamp dies. ;)

Yeah, that's the only company I could find as well. Also found the HVAC company that now occupies the address listed on the box, and from their yelp reviews I don't think I'll be using them should I ever live in CO. I actually called them yesterday, but the person I spoke to didn't seem to know anything about the building or the name of it's previous tenant.
