What’s a way to get more business? Advertise, what do you do when you advertise? Send people to your website.

With CPC’s current website and product offering what happens when you hit the website? Either stock chips or a massive barrier to entry custom design process.

Better stock options = ability to advertise and get new customers with lower barrier

Oh I’m not arguing against more and better stock options. I’m just mentioning what has been a barrier to me.

It's not too late if it's months out from delivery, should be fine to bump your counts a bit I'd think. I did it because I do it on anything custom I order just in case there's some errors. The ability to sell or give out samples with the ones leftover after that is a bonus.

Not enough! Never enough!

but also the possibility they may not sell to the public any more even if they don't shut down entirely was definitely a factor. Can't count on being able to order replacements/add-ons in future.

For the majority of my duration as a member I’ve always had Kramer as my avatar, with small moments of George.

Current avatar is a temporary departure from that.

Its interesting that so many people recommend more stock options. I'm not opposed to CPC stock sets. I just never pulled the trigger on one because it felt like a waste of money, since i could have full customs for the same price. Maybe it's a hurdle only in my mind, but I don't think I'd ever have much interest in a stock CPC set unless it was significantly cheaper than a custom set. And as I understand it, the nature of the production of these chips doesn't allow for the volume discount sort of pricing that would allow CPC to sell stock chips for less.

I was thinking the same thing. The difference between a custom set and a standard set would be $50. Obviously, it doesn't matter. But I'll be honest, waiting 9 months was excruciating, although it was worth it.
But, I still would like to be able to buy a set I like spontaneously. And that's what a lot of random people do...
And I would do it if I liked the colors in the samples and had the option to put them in the basket individually...
