For any entry to be valid they either must splice together pictures using the actual Chip Design Tool or they must list what colors they are using.

The brand new (and soon to be retired) $1000 chip is not directly designable in the Design Tool. I will be posting a side view of a barrel, first one who posts a correct spliced together mock up picture of the chip face will win a full seven chip sample set.

ChaosRock is excluded from the contest and anyone who already has a sample set (or is on my short list to get one this run) will be receiving the $500/$1000 anyways. You guys are eligible to play but will not receive an additional set if you take it down. If that scenario unfolds I will have another contest of some description.

To clarify... I knew I wanted a $1000 but didn't love what I came up with... between the time I ordered and the time I received them I had designed a chip I love and nowhere else to put it. A denom is easy to replace when you only order a barrel

Nope. Being that you are currently the only "taker" and are using something other than the CDT I am going to jump on/edit the rules early and say for any entry to be valid they either must use the CDT or they must list what all the colors are they are using... once anyone gets close I don't want to have to guess if they are correct or not.

1/4 pie Chocolate, Black, Retro Red, Black
412 spots in DG Arc Yellow, DG Tiger, DG green and blue?

My colors in the render are still off, too, but lavender?! Wow, that's not what I am looking at.
I'm in the midst of reworking all my render colors, they'll become much more vibrant and may resemble the real colors much better - Dayglos in particular.

I think your pretty damn close. Maybe DG pink is opposite Peacock though...just switch placement of DG pink and DG green.

I think something like this but just substitute the lavender around the pink.
It would be purple around the pink I think.

May I ask what sensor was used to take this picture? If I turn the hues 50° I can see a lavender but all the other colors are off to me - mind-boggling.

Yeah I originally thought light green as well but this pic. showed otherwise:

lavender is the added color around green. Still not sure about the purple base color

Remember, an entry is not valid unless you submit a correct picture. "This picture but with this color here" is not a valid entry.

I feel fine saying this at this point because a) it's in the OP..., b) it was repeated and quoted a few posts back, and c) no one has been right yet anyways
