Playing cards storage (2 Viewers)

Not all of those clear plastic ones are created equally. Took me a while to find a size that would fit a deck perfectly. I settled on these: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CKNBCGDB

(Amazon.de but I'm sure you could track down the same ones on the .com)

They will fit a deck of poker sized, and will even fit most tuck boxes snugly.

Oh, also... You might want to look for boxes with fairly sharp inside corners. As a very rounded box might knock into the corners of your more sharp edged card decks.
Hm, aren't those the same ones as the TEMU's that OP tried?
Yup, all this and thanks for the input.
What @Phyffe suggested might or may not be the same that I've ordered, product page is no longer available, but I can confirm, not all plastic boxes are created equal.

Ever so slightly too small for poker size:

Fits bridge size like a glove though:

Amazing, thanks for the recommendation, will likely give it a shot.

Hey guys, looking for some inspiration and help maybe.
Lately I went on a little cards buying spree and now my OCD is trying to keep me up at night.
Are there any good card storage options out there for loose decks (when you buy two separate decks and not a setup)?

On the forum I've found mind-blowingly fantastic boxes from @Machine, sadly at the time of writing not available anymore.

For the record, I still have plenty of these boxes and happy to sell them

Playingcarddecks.com made perfect boxes. Not too bulky and fit both poker size and bridge size cards well. I don't think they made another run of them, sadly.

I own a 3d printer.. and like most people with 3d printers I make excuses to use it for literally everything. So I've been printing boxes to hold my setups because I don't really like paper tuck boxes and I like to store my setups together where possible.
Working on modeling single-deck boxes in a similar vein but there's a ton of options out there already for them I just didn't like them that much.

I think it was either Texas poker supply or the Poker Store but they seem to be out of stock. Maybe I bought them all lol. Here is a similar one on Amazon US. Looks very similar but I cannot vouch for it. Also looks like the cut out is on the bottom instead of top which is kind of nonsensical or maybe the pic with the cards in it was just taken by a DA because the others look like it is on the top.

Personally tried some Temu card boxes but obviously they are a tiny bit too small because of course, why would they fit.

So far some tin boxes seem to be working best to unify the collection somewhat, however that just does it for a deck not a setup.

Hence going back to my original question - anyone has any recommendations for storage for card setups?
Feel like this topic is greatly under-discussed.
I like the ones that come with Copag cards

I was just thinking about looking for a thread on this topic.

A lot of interesting stuff on MPC, Makeplayingcards.com. Customizable boxes, cards...

But I wouldn't buy their soft plastic boxes anymore. I bought 20 less than 4-5 years ago and having stored them in a well-closed box, away from light and sun, they still ended up yellowing.

Yes the good ones are acrylic and were available from Texas Poker Supply & Kardwell. They came in both Poker size & Bridge size but the Bridge size have been gone for a while. Kardwell still has the acrylic Poker size listed https://www.kardwell.com/clear-acrylic-plastic-playing-card-boxes-16416

I have found some others on eBay that were Bridge size https://www.ebay.com/itm/354631495920 but they are a softer plastic similar to the one from Amazon listed above. Still better that the ones with a hinged cover. These covers that slips over stays closed pretty tight.

Bought a bunch of UltraPro 50 count boxes and can highly recommend.

Holds a deck in the soft box perfectly, almost airtight, loose deck has some wiggle room but nothing crazy.
They have little recesses so they stack nicely. For some reason also like the sharp edges a lot.

A purchase you won't regret! Ultra-Pro boxes are expensive, but they are for sure really good boxes.

Personally, I'm looking for boxes similar to @Tonysquander 's and yours (with lid), but made of soft plastic, so that I can easily transport them without the risk of breaking them. If I know where to find them in bridge size (even in Switzerland - thanks to @SwissChip ), I still haven't found any supplier for the poker sized ones.
I ended up finding them in Tina's shop on Alibaba.com, but the minimum quantity required is too big haha.

WTF!

Yeah, looks really nice, it shows 1000 pieces MOQ for me, maybe refresh the page couple of times and it'll go down even more
And to your point, I can confirm it is noticeably harder to find ANY boxes in poker size.

I have a feeling if you shoot Tina a message there will be something that could be done
