Ducks are really popular on Cruise Ships. There are lots of people who cruise who buy label the ducks from where they are from and bring a bunch of ducks on cruise ships and hide them throughout the ship for people to find, and they look for the other ducks people hide. I haven't been on a cruise ship in a while so it was before this trend started happening, but I know people who do this and are obsessed with this when they cruise.View attachment 1446243View attachment 1446244

I cruised for the first time in November and found probably 2 myself, and as a group we found 4 or 5. Always rehid them for someone else to find.Ducks are really popular on Cruise Ships. Do you have any books you wouldn't stamp because the Value of the book is too high and it would kill the value?Bought a custom book embosser.. why not. Ha
Now to spend all day working through a few shelves (~1000 books) throughout the house.

I don't have any major collectors books, only a handful even break $100 in value. That said, I've been debating buying a copy of the Casino Royale novel that I based my CPC set/order off. That's a bit pricier and would likely be the only exception.. a $1k book likely should be protected a bit more.Do you have any books you wouldn't stamp because the Value of the book is too high and it would kill the value?

Are handmade, real wood chess boards a big deal? Like something a good woodworker could make some money at?1849 Heirloom Staunton set with ebony and boxwood pieces. All on a Queen’s Gambit board as seen in the final tournament.

I’m not sure what the market is for anything chess related. I know since that show premiered, there’s been an uptick in interest. I doubt it will ever been the same as Rounders was for poker. Are handmade, real wood chess boards a big deal? Like something a good woodworker could make some money at?

One of the most unexciting exciting things you can buy. Enjoy the renewed warmth!Brrr no more. We were using fireplaces to heat house during the recent cold snap. 20 years was a pretty good lifespan.

It is difficult to say, I have 1 beautiful board, hand made locally by a craftsman, just the best, paid very little for it in my opinion Had it for years, 20 plus years, and it’s the only one I have and the only one I need. Are handmade, real wood chess boards a big deal? curious how well it works once you get it in, been considering doing something like this for a few weeks now.I got tired of running out of compressed air.
Endless compressed air for $25. A small miracle.

Quite well. My first cleaning was on/in my 21 year old Trane gas furnace. It blew out all the dust as well as a compressed air can plus the brush tip was more helpful with cleaning the motor. It has about three speeds, as well. Even the LED light proved useful. I’m keeping it.curious how well it works once you get it in, been considering doing something like this for a few weeks now.
I might have to get one of these to dust off all of my LEGO without going through can after can of the compressed stuff!Quite well. My first cleaning was on/in my 21 year old Trane gas furnace. And since one can be much more liberal with its use, I probably cleaned longer and better than with a disposable can. $25 fixed until it stops working - which could be/should be a decade or so. It’s guilt-free (green & cost) cleaning.
While I have only 1 chess board and I have had it for many years, I should have considered that a website might exist called chessboardandsetsforum.com, and on that website, might be a small motivated group of people that collect, trade and buy the newest and latest chess, and classic chess items and each member may have many, many chess sets, (that some may never use, and they have a burning trigger inside, like a disease where they need many many sets and boards - and they may also collect a certain type of chess set that a specific makers mold marking on it)Are handmade, real wood chess boards a big deal?
