Recently discovered backgammon and love playing it now. What’s even better is that the wife will play it much more willingly than poker. Also discovered there are so many beautiful boards out there for the collecting - will these be my next adventure? Here’s what I’m sure will be the first of many...
I need a nice board like this.
It really is so much nicer than the 19” amazon one I had. This is a full tournament size with the 1.75” checkers that are nice and heavy. Even my wife was like “dang, this is going to be great to play with.” Was only about $250 (I say only because holy cow backgammon boards can get expensive).

Just bought this fun little Hadean solidbody uke bass from Rondo Music. It will be cool for home jam sessions and acoustic gigs. I’ll give an update when it arrives, but for under $200, it will be hard to go wrong.

Oooooh, don't get me started on my high-end point and shoot and full manual compact 35mm film cameras from just before the digital age. I still have some beauts. Ricoh GR1, Konica Hexar, Konica Hexar RF, and Contax T3. Can't bear to part with them.

We needed a new rug for our piano room and I was able to convince Mrs Roo that this pattern was subtle enough and the colors worked etc etc. She is rolling her eyes and regretting it now, but TOO LATE WE HAVE AN X-WING RUG LOLOL.
