Years ago my family owned a resort type hotel called Summerlea. I've always wanted to do a vintage style tribute set.

Since I dig the Mardi Gras v1 line so much, I figured I'd mock them up now that we have DG Katy available.

The orange chip would be an alternate frac; I took some liberties w/the red fiver b/c that's the one chip I dislike the color combo enough to change.

And yes, I know the FDL mold would be more true to the theme, but I really prefer the textured inlay & the A mold most closely captures the look of the four suits mold.

Lol lets put it this way. IF this ever happened it would be sitting at #4 on my priority list behind Paymaster (already paid for), a HP hot stamp set, and a boatload of $2s for limit.

I have a two sets designed and ready for an inlay.
1. Hawaii based theme with classic Hawaii color schemes. H-mold of course.

2. Ivy League rowing theme with mostly half pie to look like oars from respective schools. Also just needs art. Md-50

I wouldn't call it "awesome"...more like a relevant evil. I shouldn't have even mocked it (fun fact: I named the file "gross" on my PC before I uploaded it here). As penance and to appease the college football gods, I offer this far superior alternative...

Actually took some liberties with the spots, trying more for a similar look than exact copies. The katycock T25K is an unfinished work-in-progress.

Since these would be destined to have color-matched inlays, this is probably a better representation:

No thought given to colors/spots/mold/breakdown as yet

since it is for fun or science, I went with the science aspect and did the solar system. Of course, after I did it, it is gone. Gotta figure out that chip design tool.....

figure $.25 pluto, $1 earth, $5 mars, $25 venus, $100 saturn, $500 neptune, $1000 sun, $5000 jupiter, $10000 uranus, $25000 mercury. These were just nasa images, I don't have skills to make actual designs, hence the lack of any graphics or amounts.

Was watching a program this afternoon that had probe photos of the rings orbiting Uranus (like Saturn) and how orbiting moons kept the rings in check. Immediately thought of mocking up a set very much like this one using hi-def NASA images of the planets. Great idea. Small world. bad pun

A set depicting some of the moons found in the solar system could be pretty cool, too.
