In the mockups, the silver looks better. I also realize I did 5k on the blue, rather than 10k.
So in my example, I'd have minimum 5x$50 for the dies?Love hot stamps. Wish cpc had some more interesting options for stock denominations though. I can justify 1 die but not sure about 5!
Unless your denominations are a font they already have and they could make a 2 piece die to use them then I think soSo in my example, I'd have minimum 5x$50 for the dies?
But my design would have to work with their denom size, right?Unless your denominations are a font they already have and they could make a 2 piece die to use them then I think so
Yea. It looks similar to the Atlantic club denom font thoughBut my design would have to work with their denom size, right?

Hi mate,Any chance @Gear did the mock-up for the CDI $0.25 label for you? I'd like to do a relabel series of these if I can find the right chip to do it with.
I don't think they can stamp anything oversized.Added a 44mm bounty chip. View attachment 246741
That’s too bad, but probably for the best. It would cost me another stamp charge.I don't think they can stamp anything oversized.
Yeah, for sure. If (when?) I go forward with this, the stamp will need some fine tuning.I’d move the small text at the bottom down a touch. It gets very close to the denomination on the larger numbers
Messing around with limit set ideas...

I'm hoping the real thing is gonna start with some lower denominations!!!
hehehe, c'mon, not comfortable playing $40/$80 limit SOHE in my basement?
Denoms would be ND (frac) / $1 / $20, but considering how chip broke I am at the moment, this is far from a real project, really just messing around.
Really like the green-on-white. Good call.Toying with buying a Rounders cash set, but don't like that the frac only has 2 edge spots (214) and all others have 4 spots (414). So I decided to mock up what it would look like if I built my own. I didn't want to change too much. The only thing I don't like on the original set is the pink spots on the $1, plus I would go with a $20 if I were to build a custom set. Kept the 25¢, $5, and $100 identical to the original.
Went with the most similar ClipArt photo of a grizzly bear I could find and threw this together in about 15 minutes. The design tool really is a blessing and a curse... struggling with the edge spot color on the $1. Retro Green looks best to me, and to be honest, the $1's and the $100's will never see the felt simultaneously ($100's will probably never see it at all), so I'm not really concerned about that. Backup color would probably be DG Tiger.

My dream set. I'm a big Scorsese fan and I have always wanted a set that nodded to Casino or Goodfellas. Here's my Casino set. I'd like the inlay to shrink and come up a bit so the denomination can be displayed.
"The Bamboo Lounge and Casino" would be dope too.How about an inlay with a vectorized silhouette image of the mobsters from the Goodfellas poster, but instead of the "Goodfellas" text, replace it with something else, like "Wiseguys" or "Soldati"...?
