Thread 'Need re-design help due to dirty stack problem' https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/need-re-design-help-due-to-dirty-stack-problem.34207/
I understand the concept, I’m just not concerned about it. IF I ever even thought of trying to get something like this made, I’d think harder about it. I‘d probably reduce the spot size as mentioned above and that would take care of any potential issue. Some may argue against that, but it’s true. What is important to understand is the purpose of this set. It is not something designed for use in a semi professional card room with dozens of strangers. It would be a graduation present for my son to commemorate graduating from UT and being in a leadership position in the Pride of the Southland band during those years. Whether he would actually use them for play with friends….who can say. But he’d have a primary set of chips for those games anyway. These would be more…decorative I guess you’d say.

Status is what I mean by account. It’s impossible. Keeps telling me wrong email address. Note pic I posted (I think) in an earlier comment.
Missed the photo and didn’t see it when I looked back. Happy to help if you want, feel free to DM me. Part of the joy for me is designing new chip sets- fighting tech robs the fun.

Just mocked these up on my new phone without logging in, it seems to be working fine

I’m at a loss then. I see no way to add chips to a set. I’m sure I’m just missing something that’s staring me in the face, But nowhere do I see anything that says add chip to set. I appreciate the help. If I get serious about trying to create something for real, Then I’ll worry more about it. My first concern for then would be to find a way to make a better looking label than the fast and dirty one I put together.

Are you right-clicking on the chip graphic?

Just click on the chip, and select ”save as new” (or save as #1 if you want to change the first chip)
Eureka! Thanks…I was really starting to feel stupid(er). Now I just need someone competent to help create a better label. People who will quibble with the colors not withstanding.

While I was experimenting with poker chip designer tool I got an idea to try to make Sonic inspired chips (Since there are already Mario's one and Casino topic is a pretty common one in Sonic franchise)

So I gave a try to make each chip represent a character from this franchise

White - Rouge
Red - Knuckles
Blue - Sonic (Not the best shade of blue, but designer tool told me that Dayglo Peacock isn't the best best for colours I've chosen, so I got Blue instead)
Black - Shadow
Pink - Amy
Orange - Tails

I don't have any real plans to make them real, just experimenting with this tool for fun

Trying a gradient and red text. Had to size down because I didn't know the printable area on scalloped inlays was only .65" Canary probably my second favorite for the spots on the red if keeping it at a single color.

Coming around on a green $2, ditching the tri-moon and 1/2 pie because they looked weird in the progression. Maybe white is a little overused, but I like it matching through the set.

I think these are just fine now with the smaller spots. You are not going to have dirty stack issues with these.

Okay I tried to get a bit more creative while staying in the general theme. Amateurish label aside, I think this is a better attempt. Not sure which way to go on the $20; but I’d let my son decide what he likes best.

Because you have such a limited palette, I actually think these are worse than the previous iteration. There is now more duplication of the colors and the spots are bigger again, making them less playable, in my opinion.

Note that the 20 chip would be either the light blue or charcoal. I included both in the set so my son could see both and decide which he liked better. As such, I don’t think playability would be much of an issue with either 4 chip iteration. That said, it’s probably a moot point; I think he likes the previous version better. His first comment: “Awww what happened to the orange 5?”. So much for creativity.

Playing around with Philly sports theme colored set. Then I thought about my nephews art work as inlays. All I’d need would be his permission, and perhaps a tweak to the Phanatics background color. And add some denominations

Whenever I see an actual chip (usually Paulsons) that I like a lot, I'll mock it up and save it in the CPC tool. The idea being, that eventually, it'll become an actual CPC chip in some new future set.

I've been accumulating them for a while given the below: lol  :ROFLMAO:

I can't always match CPC colors and spots to Paulson obviously, but I'll get as close as possible.

Liking a deeper blue better. Not sure on an orange or white frac, and the spot on the $2 chip. I think I like orange better in a vacuum. Trying to find a color for the #5 chip but struggling to find what looks good with black and white spots. Don't love pink/purple for it. Maybe 6D18 instead of 8D18.

***SOLVED***
So after you have designed the first chip in the set and are happy with it, how do you get the software to move on to the next chip. I have 5 sets one chip each because I could not figure this out lol. I am talking CPC editor specifically......Edited...I figured it out...click on the chip.

Here are some continuation of my experiments for CPC set that I might order in really far future. What do you think about designs so far? Do they work with each other?

You will need to get a colour sample in hand. Then you will see how dark dark dark these look.
