For an extra 25 cents you can ship via usps small flat rate boxes and do it all online. Safer and free tracking. I'll pay .25 cents extra to have them shipped usps small flat rate box.

Can't do it online, I live in Canada. I have to package everything, then cross the border and ship it all out.

I've started packing everything, but haven't shipped anything yet. Have not emailed anyone either, trying to get to it. I was actually supposed to be in Vegas right now, but cancelled that also.

Mike

I forgot you're in Canada. Darn that would have been super slick otherwise. I'm fine with whatever method you think is best

Emails have FINALLY gone out to everyone. Please check your spam filters in case it got sucked into it.

I've been in the process of packing chips already, so I am hoping to get down to the US mail system mid next week if everything goes smoothly.

Mike

Thanks again Mike for organizing this! PP sent.

Will do. Had hoped to get them out last week, but things have not gone as planned. Trying to get down to Washington this week.

Mike

I wasn't planning to prod about this, but... I was really, really hoping to use one of my sample sets as a holiday gift for a friend who will be wildly into them. I thought I had plenty of time, thinking about a rough date of 12/25... but, of course, this particular guy is Jewish.

I just looked up the date for Hannukah 2015, and it starts... ON SUNDAY, the 6th! (Lasting until Monday, the 14th.)

Can I please beg that you ship mine in time for me to get them to him as a Hannukah gift?

FRAK! Now I can't recall. Have I paid? So many sample sets coming in.

It's been quite some time and it's just for samples but.......I keep seeing pictures of him playing poker and such. Sooo one could logically surmise that getting these out isn't a priority? And I don't know why I have to wait for him to go to Washington as I only live a hour down the road....

Doing my best to get the first wave out on Friday.
Will try to ensure that Mental Nomad's is in that grouping. (and thanks for the hannukah update, I thought it was later this year!)

Pasi, I believe so, I have to check my updated list to see if you sent a new address for shipping.

Quicksilver, Yes, I have posted pictures of myself playing poker. And yes, that has been more of a priority for me lately. No idea how you possibly could live an hour down the road from me. I will gladly refund you your money if you would like. Remember, you are the one that first wanted 1 sample set. Then 3. Then when it came time to pay you wanted just 1. Then you said you must have been drinking and would still take 3 . Just say the word and I will paypal you back. I'd prefer it, actually.

Regardless of me changing my mind I still paid you fast and if I remember correctly, on time. Because I made a commitment to somebody. Thanks for your honesty regarding your priorities though. As far as a refund goes, NO. Put yourself in people's shoes. You've sat on these for a month now. Even if you tried getting a few out per night is better than nothing. It's a few chips. No big deal. But stop F'n telling everybody you're so busy with work and then posting pictures of poker games. Tommy already offered to take over for you WEEKS ago and you declined. Why? That's what I'm wondering....

Clearly that guy is still smoking the pot.....

In all seriousness, I agree that it is time to ship, past due in fact. (ship or get off the pot? lol ) However, taking shots at Mike is not the answer here, IMO. In addition, I am trying to remember how long it took to even make them (fo-eva!!). I am currently (eagerly) awaiting a small HU set. This last month has been exciting for sure, but only a fraction of the actual waiting time. You guys are all rad. We should try to stay united and on the same page. (or I will kill all of you.........just kidding) All good things in all good time bros

Shipping chips is BY FAR the least enjoyable aspect of this hobby for me. Not just because it means beloved my chipes are leaving the fold, either..... it's a serious pain-in-the-ass to do it properly, and requires blocks of time that don't come easily for some people (me included).

In addition, bulk shipping for group buys or large sales offerings makes thing exponentially worse, requiring organization, patience, and tedious record-keeping to ensure that nothing gets screwed up - beyond the sheer number of packages that must be prepared, labeled, and delivered to the post office. I basically hate it, and being a world-class procrastinator doesn't help the cause. International shipping is the worst.

Because I'm typically not on the speedy side of the shipper bell curve (making up for it with near-zero chance of damage, provided the world doesn't end), I try not to pressure or judge others for taking their time to ship chips, especially when there are large quantities of items or packages involved. Not saying I'm a saint (I'm not, trust me), just that I do try to exhibit patience regarding this one particular aspect of the hobby.

I'm going to keep posting pictures of poker games. You keep having a heart attack.

Why did I decline to ship everything off to Tommy? Because there were multiple payments, with some overages and some underpayment. There are still multiple people left to pay even now. Because there are 5 different countries to send to. Because I bought roughly a dozen extra sample sets just in case anything happens. And because I've already bought over 60 dollars in shipping supplies.

Chips will be going out. I will still post pictures of myself playing poker. Life will go on.

In this instance we were all told he was going to get them out....a month ago. Again, and for the last time my issue here isn't the chips. It's about following through with a commitment. I understand how tedious mailing off large amount of chips is. I know how crazy sorting through all the paypal notifications can be. But there is really zero reason why not a single package has been mailed.

Just take the refund. There is nothing I can do that will appease you, and at this point, I fear that you would also say there is something wrong when you receive the chips.

time to move this to the wtf thread?

The only wtf part is spending 2+ hours in line at a US post office.

The receipt from shipping was over 5 feet long.

Most US and international orders went out Saturday. (unpaid orders did not go out.) Canadian orders will go out Tuesday.

Mike

Thanks, Mike. I feel your pain, my personal record is nearly 7 feet.

Thank you Mike for everything you have done for this group buy. :)

It takes all my strength to keep from raising absolute hell every time I am in the post office. I have yet to set foot in a post office anywhere in the country that is fast and efficient with decent customer service...literally.

Has anyone seen my dog? He's a wiener dog named Skippy. If you see him, please send him home ASAP. Thanks. Carry on

Got the chips today Mike!! :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO: LOVE THEM!!! Thank you so, so much man! Now my cash set is complete with the oversized 2-hundos...

Those above barrels don't fit my oversized racks though... Here's a comparison between the CPC Oversized Scrolls and a barrel of mint/uncirculated Aztar $1,000, almost a full chip per barrel heigh difference:

Thanks again for everything Mike! @Racer96 !
