It is sad if you ask me. These casinos need to be reopened so employees can get back to work, and those that want to go can. Harrah's Cherokee just opened up their poker room so I'm heading down for a few days. We should flock to the casinos and give them our business if we are able.

...Or even their own unused molds. I'd go broke if they started offering custom sets on their paradise/pineapple mold for us.

Are there occasional flippers here and there? Sure. They have always been around, it's nothing new. Some have been around for 10 years. However, the absolute great majority of folks around these parts are great people. Many, many of them travel around the US and internationally to play poker together. This is NOT a community of scumbags as some people might want you to believe.

I eliminated anything under 5% because I just don't see anything like a 1% limit on any denominations. I kinda think it will be like @upNdown I believe said and he will max it at 5% and once they're gone they're gone.

1% for frac's seems absurd to me. So prohibitive it's pointless. But I can definitely see the 25k's in that range. Makes more sense for someone to have a barrel of 25ks vs 25c.

My (naive) hope is that it's similar to lady luck and the fracs are like 20%, so people can build the standard micro set with no issue. This of course is all dependent on the amount of chips available. And if I'm being honest, these fracs don't seem like ones people would go berserk for. I'm partial to blue fracs myself, so I dig them. But it's not like ES, AS, or something like railroad pass (bright color with HS).
 
Depending on numbers...could be that very limited chips like 25c / 5K & 25K are sold seperate in racks.
Or limited to pre-configed sets or half here and half on eBay.

If there are plenty (doubt it)...I would say 10% at best (1 rack per 1000 chips)
While we prefer 2 racks of quarters on 600 or 700 chip sets, 1 rack per table is perfect doable...if you want more you will have to pay a premium

Wouldn't pre configured sets make the most sense for frac's? Maybe for the first hour. If you're buying 25c chips, then 90% of the time you're playing 25c/25c or 25c/50c, and the 600 chip breakdown applies. Idk I'll leave it to @TheChipRoom , but it's fun to speculate :)
 
I kinda expect max 5% for fracs, and anything above the $500 denom. So that's max. 1 rack each for a 2000 chip limit in the first hour. If it's a higher %, then that's gravy.

Don't know if I'm going to be participating in the main sale. Will depend on a lot of things. These sales usually start when I can't be on a computer or a phone.

I think in every single sale that was done I was able to buy a rack of each frac he had outright no other sale required.
Oh yah and I still have those racks too. I wonder how many people can say they still own their Bahamia set and racks purchased at all
previous sales.
IF I cant do buy those straight out, I wont even refresh this page again.
 
Native lights sale -> 5% for fracs (limits removed after 1 hour)
Roadhouse -> 5% for 1K & 5K and 10% for snappers (no fracs)
Jack Sale (ST Patty day) -> max 200 chips ($5/chip), max 100 1K and 5K chips per order...last rack was sold (auction) for $1775 (!)
Jack Sale (P&S) -> 5% for quarters ($3.49/chip), same for 1K & 5K chips
Lady Luck -> 10% for 50c & 5% voor $500 chips

Thinking you can just grab a rack or two of mint fracs or 5/25K chips is day dreaming....
Or we are all very lucky and then they all will be sold under 1 min (don't count on that)
Logical that people ordering a 1K set or more, have first choice for a complete set

Come to think of it...most of TCR recent sales have been complete sets
 
I would be completely happen with just one rack of fracs with a cash set. They are just to get the betting started in my game the use the others as the work chips.

So no one here ever Buys huge amounts of chips at the sale, then when people didn’t get what they want because of said flipper, sell them privately for extortion rates whilst dumping the rest at cost. I’ll be sure to watch and not see that later.

Ummm yah cool story brah. I don’t remember finding tons of stuff for people’s WTB advs either lately. Must be butt hurt over some hard to swallow pill of truth regarding the beauties of the govt taking all your money.
