I was the first one to report a falling out with poppin. There was a loooong thread about that. He made good on the deal that that was about and after that we got a little friendly, exchanged some sample barrels and I let him play on my tab a few times in the Euro pcf online game. I wrote that somewhere to help him clear his name as it seemed to me he was alright after all and the misdealings we had was in fact just the misunderstanding that he claimed.

Clearly, I was wrong and I'm not sure if you're refering to me, but if you somehow get "help facilitate" and "cover up" out of that, then I'm not even mildly amused

It seems pretty clear that poopin was working alone, I don’t think anyone here was helping him

I think I said this in one of the other threads, but what really gets me is that he seemed to make things right with @Eriks ... He even contributed to lots of threads on here, seeming like an all-around nice guy. Only to come right back and screw us.

If he meant to play us as one big mark, then he is a very shrewd con artist. He did the exact right thing by creating concern, and then immediately extinguishing that concern by appearing to make good. It's an interesting tactic that actually might lend itself to people trusting him more.

If he didn't mean to do it, then I feel sorry for him (but not sorry though to forgive or excuse).

Yup, whether or not he meant to do it... Whether or not he actually has a problem or is just a con artist, he's still a thief and a crook and a POS.

Most likely no. Any VPN can get around that, and if his internet provider uses dynamic IP addresses, then they're bound to change. Also, his phone will have a different IP address depending on where it is... All of this adds up to one thing: he can create as many accounts as he needs to. Our only protection against it is to be vigilant.
