The ABC chips feel slightly grittier, so they are slightly harder to shuffle.

I believe that is normal because they are brand new, not broken in. I got custom Chipcos around 10 years ago and remember them being rather abrasive until they break in and smooth out a bit.

I was thinking of using the blue $1 as either a $500 or $1000. If I used it as $1000, not sure if it would be too close in color to the $500.

Awesome! Moved down a little south from Santa Barbara and Ventura. Not necessarily the Beach anymore, so I'm trying to theme up a new idea for this GB but am not coming up with any ideas yet...but I better get moving cuz the samples on these chipco blanks has me feeling all giddy inside.
