I didn't joint CT until 2012, and only knew about Nooker in a general sence. Now that I've gone back and read the thread (and the related "Bergs cashes at Derby City Showdown 2" thread), I realize we lost one of the greatest sources of self-aggrandizing of humor fodder the chip-world has ever known.

Not in on the Colossus backing, but best of luck to Bivey! Looking forward to a ChaosRock/Bivey heads-up final.

Dealt KK on button. Raise from UTG+1 raises to 150. I raise to 525. BB completes.

Flop Q63 rainbow. BB makes it 975. A fold and I call. Turn 10 with two hearts. Checked to me. I push and BB calls with AQ. River Q. Ouch.

I have 475 left. Folder said he folded TT.

Needing chips, I push with 99. SB calls TT. That's poker. Thanks for the support fellas. Wasn't what I had in mind. Colossus is a short stack game and my plan was to play big pairs only for first two hours until antes kicked in. Unfortunately it was a short run.

Depends on # of entries. last year was $1096 but I think the payout structure changed considerably.

What would a min cash be?

Last year, min cash was roughly 2x buy-in. This year they've adjusted it to 1.5x buy-in, with the bubble breaking in day 1 of each round. This allows players to cash in day 1A, bust, and then rebuy into day 1B. Repeat for 1C, 1D and however many other day 1s they had.

I cannot say I hated the Colossus last year, but only because Paulo cashed - so it was awesome in a vicarious sort of way. But I think it unlikely that I'll be back.
