Deck smacked me all night. Was happy to pick up a chopped 2nd/3rd place. Got it in good with AK over the shortstacked A5 and against J10 but didn't come out victorious in that one. Won all of my flips to that point so I was due. Guest set courtesy of @randy2310 . These Sunflys were rather underrated. Had a nice weight to them!

I have a sample set of those won as a pot sweetener, one of my favorite shuffle stacks. Congrats on the run good Joe!Deck smacked me all night. Was happy to pick up a chopped 2nd/3rd place. Got it in good with AK over the shortstacked A5 and against J10 but didn't come out victorious in that one. Won all of my flips to that point so I was due. Guest set courtesy of @randy2310 . Thanks @JMC9389 for snapping a bunch of pics, I was severely delinquent in that department last night. This was the only other one I got, scooping a nice Dramaha pot (got dealt this hand straight up lol).
And a big thanks to @randy2310 for lugging out his Belaggio sunfly ceramics, really great feeling chips that shuffle like butter - I'm happy we were able to dust them off and get them in play!

Thank you! A good start to the year for sure. Besides the one big win at the meetup, I only cashed once at Matt's all of last year. I'll take already matching last year's cashes! What got me about the chips was the weight; I wasn't expecting them to feel as heavy as they did.

Totally, poker sucks....
My poker reads are way off. Looked to me like he was deliberating whether or not he wanted you to get him another drink while you were up.

My kids are both laying on the floor asleep. Stepped on them both heading to bed. You'll get there one day....
