Had a few folks express some interest in my shed build, so I figured I'd drop the photos here. PSA - while I'm pretty handy, this is my first shed build and because I've been so busy with lots of life nonsense, I kinda winged this. I wouldn't use it as "good" example lol.
Replacing this 19 year old beauty, who paid for herself and then some.
The steel shed itself (aside from the appearance) was actually still holding up OK, but the decking beneath it was completely rotting and shot. Time to go. Demo'd the shed and plywood subfloor, but was able to salvage most of base framing, aside from a couple of rotted exterior boards.
End of prep day:
Day 2, framing up the walls:
Getting all the rafters prepped (end of day 1):
Day 3, rafters up and OSB sheething on:
Side panels up on three side (and my son getting a lesson in a numb arm after hammering all afternoon lol)
End of day 3:
Next up: getting the roof shingled & front & side peak siding up.
