Show Me Your JACK FRAC (5 Viewers)

How do you guys go about harvesting chips? Do the casinos usually frown on it? So do you take them to the RR and put them into a backpack or how do you do it with so many chips?

Some people have had luck just going up and asking to get a rack of uncirculated chips from the cage, I've never had them give me more than 5.

I wore a fancy pack and would just play games that used a lot of 1s and just sort as I played and gradually put the nice chips in my pack. Also could go from table to table asking the dealers if they would help you find 10-20 nice 1s to take home as a souvenir.

If you're at the poker tables and you dont care about chip condition just ask for a rack of 1s from the cage then leave the poker room with them.

I prefer my "D"etroit arc yellow stamps over my "F"rac stamped petunias but it's nice to have the option.

@Sprinsd From time to time these S&K Cardroom $5 chips will come up for sale. I'm sure a full lable replacement is possible but that would more work than I'm willing to do. The label overs for these chips look great are surprisingly sturdy. They're not the originals but these quarters were as close as I could get them.

Is there an “inlay progression” typically followed for faux shaped inlays? Or do people just go with whatever they want?

There is no total consistency, but there are trends.

$5 - scallop
$25 - whatever the opposite of scallop is
$100 - cog
$500 - hexagon

But you'll find all sorts of examples out there. I've even got some cog-shaped $1s.

From what I can tell it looks like a lot of people go with this shape for fracs.... not sure what it’s called.

#1.....I like the shade of pink. It’s not the overwhelming bright pink. Which inlay shape?

what did those #1s used to be? i definitely like those better for the progression.
