Show Us Your Live Stacks (37 Viewers)

Hadn't played in a live card room in a while so ventured to my local track. Only got to play for 2 hours at $1/$2 due to my own time constraints but in for $100 and out for $530. Didn't get to snap a photo of final chip count due to busting two short stacks and my table collapsing to condense with another. Just racked up and went to the cashier.

I usually buy in for 100 bigs but I got there when they first opened. Mostly seniors. They all bought in for $100 each so matched their buy in just to play nice since everyone would have the same starting amount. I originally had $200 on the table but some of the seniors grumbled and since the back $100 wouldn't be effective anyway, I just went along to get along.

Love this place - it's dumpy but super close to my family's timeshare in Ft. Myers Beach. So fun to head out to for a few nights after the wife and kid goes to bed...

Won $500 while I was waiting for a seat at PLO. So I pocketed my initial $300 buy-in and sat with the $500.

On a nice run. Here you go @gadgetmcnasty, here is your $2k stack pic.

Y'all should know that Rhodeman is one of the best players I've had the privelage of playing against. Moreover, he is a kind soul. He uses his winnings for things like urban renewal and feeding the poor. NH, sir. NH.

Ha! I wondered if someone was going to recognize the chips! My stomping grounds. This and Seminole Immokalee before they stopped dealing poker are the only card rooms I've been in.

Had my worst 1/2 session in a couple years this weekend. It was "card dead for 30 minutes, pick up a second best hand" over and over all night long.

My first table was decent. Example, EP opens $5, I 3b $15 with AK, MP snaps and everybody else folds. Flop T93r, I lead $15, she raises to $30. I fold and she shows T9o.

After a couple of the looser players left, the OMC ratio was too high and I switched to a table with deeper stacks, slightly better players, and a lot of big pots. Similar story: AK no good, set mining no good, flush vs boat, etc. Dusted off my last few bucks when I raised $20 with 99, EP limper 3bets big, and I call off my last $50 and get to see his amazingly well played KK.

It was a frustrating $700 loss. Apart from that last hand, I didn't really make any other major mistakes that I'm aware of - just an evening of nonstop runbad.

Here are some of the chippies we said goodbye to this weekend. IN MEMORIAM:
