Playing Potowatamie. My buddy and I both get bad beats. He hits the BB jackpot for $13k. Room share is $350.

My bad beat is that I went to the food court across the hall for 5 minutes for a very short bite to eat. Gone 5 minutes when he texts me that it hit. So my brat meal was $350... gross.

Funny you have a bad beat story, this didn't happen to me but the table next to me that I happened to move from earlier in the day. On Friday last week I was playing and heard screaming, literally. The table behind me had hit the ~75k bad beat. The whole room got up and to see, straight flush vs quads, 88 vs 10h7h. Unfortunately for me there was no room share. Really unfortunately for one woman who had taken a smoke break that was at the bad beat table. She had a missed blind button and was ineligible for the ~4k table share. Talk about an expensive cigarette. Some of the players did give her some money, about $500 total, I hope she learned her lesson and quits smoking.
The table I was at was 100% sure my friend would ship me $350 for missing the room share, but my buddy Paul (some here will know him as an MTTD regular) was not under any obligation to do so, nor did I expect it. Paul and I are decent friends, have gone to Vegas several times together, but we do our best to take each other’s money at every opportunity.... And though Paul didn’t offer me $350 in cash as a consolation prize, he did offer to pay for ALL food and beverages in our upcoming Vegas trip (in one week). I thought that was pretty awesome of him! And damn if ain’t gonna try to eat and drink $350 worth...
Possibly the best set to ever come out of the CT days, I loooove to see these sets still getting regular play after 10+ years. Amazing!
True story. BCC made round chips with round inlays and everything that day. Superb!Possibly the best set to ever come out of the CT days, I loooove to see these sets still getting regular play after 10+ years. Amazing!
I’m part of the reason that stop is so profitable. Bust-oI have always wanted to make it down there. A poker buddy of mine always told me it was his favorite stop on the circuit.
Dont call it "bust-o". Call it "got rid of stupid unaligned edgespot ceramic no-cash-value chips with currency symbols." (y) :thumbsup:I’m part of the reason that stop is so profitable. Bust-o
But did you harvest all of these?Players Casino in Ventura. Some really awful games there so I rarely play. This is a $1-2 blue chip game $50-100 max buy-inwith an automatic $6 drop if it goes to the flop
Watched a guy limp the button and refuse to chop 3 ways (allowed), then bet $5 on the flop, to win...$0. Watched another guy who was waiting for chips win a pot, and he ended up owing a dollar when he eventually got his rack.
In for $100.

In for $200 out for $536. Kicking myself for a poor/timid fold on a river bet should have picked up another $200-300 but a wins a win!
You pick up those $5’s for a home game or are you at the casino? They look beautiful
Unfortunately just at the casino. Springfield does have a great stock lineup though. You pick up those $5’s for a home game or are you at the casino? They look beautiful
