I'll blame my performance on the felt due to my first experience with all the Trillium and Treehouse sampling.
I picked up or should I say my wife picked up over a barrel of spotted birds earlier this month. Not many spotted at all but she asked and had several employees seeking them out. I was able to finish a rack and have a few extra.I played there a few months ago (October?) and I didn't see a single spotted $1. I was playing 1/2 NL so that denomination wasn't prevalent anyway, but I thought they got rid of them all.
I had a chance to play four sessions and bought for a $100 each time and ended up with 37 total at the end. Granted some of those scooped in some potsI played there a few months ago (October?) and I didn't see a single spotted $1. Back to the Borg for PLO. $2/5 tonight. Not shown: my losing $5/5 session between this and my last post. I mean, I can post a shot of plain green felt, but that's pretty depressing.

I've never been a Bud Jones guy but all the pics that butler sends makes them look oh so tasty. Borgata chips look great!
Did he die from Ebola at the table or was it later? Seriously I think licking the inside of a public toilet bowl may be a better bet.Apart from a few people saying they look "nice", I've never heard anyone at Borgata say anything positive about them. I think most people really dislike the way they handle. Which I understand.
As to the looks of Bud Jones, one of the funniest poker table stories I've ever heard was about a guy saying liked them better because they stayed clean and how you could tell by looking at them there was no grime on them, etc. So another guy sticks a stack of yellow $5 chips (this was at the Bike in LA) in the middle of the table and tells the guy if he's so sure they're clean, he can keep as many as he's willing to put in his mouth. The guy snap-grabs an indiscriminate amount, jams them into his mouth, swishes them around a bit, and spits them directly into his stack and says, "Thank you!" while a girl at the other end of the table is dry heaving watching the whole thing.

So gross. The casino might be one of the only places where I find it more important to wash my hands *before* hitting the head....

None of that was any great skill on my part.
One big hand I had 5678ss and the flop came 234dd. I flatted the flop, saw a safe offsuit ace on the turn and then got it in three ways. We ran it twice and it came an offsuit 10 both times. Scooper.
Next I flatted pre with AA77ddhh (I'd not been doing much 3-betting, so my hand would be completely open if I had here). Flop A95dd. I pot for $50, one caller. One of the better players at the table (certainly better than me). Turn 9. I check he checks. River K. I pot for $150, he raises to $450, I raise to $1150, he tank calls with A9xx and says "I think I remember this hand from a movie."
