2 royals in 4 hours? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. lol nh!

It was pretty funny. The place has a high hand for which they drop a dollar per hand and to which the house donated an additional $100 for some reason unknown to me.

I hit them both in Tahoe (5-card), so a ton easier than hold 'em obv, but still, the odds have to be absurdly long.

If they stopped the $100 money-added nonsense, maybe they could afford some decent chips with security......

I gave up a while ago pushing. Thought there was some hope when the place transferred ownership about a year ago but no dice (pun intended).

Second this!

I played in a tourney with chips like that a couple weeks ago in a card room... they tilted me. I prefer playing at a different card room because their chips are better. It so happens that so is the action.

Perhaps I am such an addict that part of why I play now includes shuffling other people's Paulson's? Is there such a thing as a Chip Diva?

Nonetheless, nice win @jbutler :).

I don't like them any more than you guys, but I guess it's just years of playing in lots of underground games that used horrific chips that has made it not even phase me any more. Yeah, I'd love to at least get them into some semi-custom china clays or decent ceramics, but these are pretty much the norm for the raked games around here. To my knowledge they've never had a chip security problem.

Last time I was at the WSOP, there was a guy building a massive empire of castles & bridges with chips on one of the tables. I also saw him doing it over at the Venetian a few days later. I'll try to find pics if I can. They were on an old phone, so I haven't come across them yet. It was pretty incredible. He probably had like 5 or 6 towers all interconnected and chips 2-3 feet high.

At Harrah's AC. At $2/5 though so not as impressive as $1k at $1/2.

Really hate that they moved from CiCs to Paulsons.

Damn, I can't find the good picture of the one he built at the Rio, it was much more impressive than this one. But here's a picture I found of him playing live at the Venetian. He built it out even better after the game broke up and was able to use more of the table.

CIC's > Paulsons. I agree! :)

At one time in AC you could play with chips from any of the major manufacturers:

Harrah's - Bud Jones CiC
Borgata - Bud Jones V7s and S2s
Atlantic Club - Chipco
Everywhere else - Paulson

Nowadays you can only see CiCs when you play with quarters at Harrah's. For some reason they never replaced them (on the poker tables at least).

i have seen a few people build different towers at the rio during wsop. always impressive to see. i don't think i have the patience for that

Just imagine what you could build if those were TRKs or Bud Jones CICs! The possibilities would be endless!

Nice. I love Bud Jones chips. Haven't gotten to play at the Borgata yet
