Agree! I think they are way better in stacks than as individual chips, which is kinda cool since it’s the workhorse/most common chip for the 1/3 games.these 5s are underrated!

Went to Lodge to play some 1/2 NLHE. Could hear @Anthony Martino across the room so went to say hi. Was card dead most of the night but on hands I had something I’d lose on the river or got out kicked. One of the first hands I overplayed trying to put pressure on the big stack and ran into aces. Oops! Was in for $800

Was about to give up around 2:20 am but then got dealt 74ss. Called a $10 raise and we were 5 handed. Flop comes Q 9 5 all spades.
Second to act bets $50. We only started with about 190 that hand. I can and another guy calls behind. Turn is a red 2.
Second to act bets 100, we name for the rest of our stack and player behind me and initial better call. Shit I might be fucked.
River is a non spade A. Those guys bet into a side pot. I show the guy next to me my 74ss and whispers the aggressor has a flush I’m probably fucked. Aggressor says flush but flips over 63ss! Guy next me me got all excited before I saw the other guys smalls flush and we triple up lol
Cashed out $700. One of my buddies who was there and leaving at the same time won a good amount so paid for my time at checkout. Only loss $100 after 5 hours of poker.

Awesome man. After losing multiple 70/30 spots for multiple thousand dollar pots and then flopping two pair, turning the nut flush and losing to a one-outer straight flush on the river I had e-fucking-nuff and took my ball and went home.
SUCKA DEALAS!

Never played 2 5 that played like 1 2, but played some 1 2s that played like 2 5.Very next hand haha — what timing. I think these could be a good theme for some custom chips. I don’t believe there are Paulsons in Panama

Another good pot, cashing out . In for 220 out for 531. It’s a 2-5 game but plays like 1-2
I used to work in this room. And you are correct. new GM hated poker. For about a year before covid he would tell us all the time how he was trying to get rid of us. last year of that room was pretty shitty. The first ten were great. From pre COVID, sadly I don't think this room is ever going to re-open. GM only wants slots hates poker.

Cool, that you worked there. I was a reg there (had a gold card and only played poker). Were you a dealer? If so I likely know you.I used to work in this room. yep. Full time dealer/floor from day one. Derrick, I didn't say much while dealing. And while flooring, I hid behind the podium unless I needed to handle something. I do remember you. Cowboy hat and all! good luck on the felt.Cool, that you worked there. I was a reg there (had a gold card and only played poker). Were you a dealer? If so I likely know you.
