Got up to $420 with these goofy $2 chips.

Last saturday, playing blackjack in Venice for a couple hour before flying back home.
This is one of two venetian casinos, the larger next to the airport (I prefere the oldest one in Canal Grande, but it's still partially closed after COVID)

Last time I visited this casino was in november 2018 ... now they use shuffle machine for blackjack, no more hand shuffle :confused
I played a bit of french roulette: jetons are in use. I bet 5 euro using a chip, I won, I got a 5 euro jeton.
In for 200 euro (plus 10 euro fee to enter in the casino, they give you a "welcome chip" for the same value), out for 320 euro.
Floor was pretty crowded, mainly with chinese people screaming loudly while playing punto-banco

In for $20 out for $100. I ran good playing .05/.10 dealers choice NLHE PLO with some $.50 bomb pots. I hit the wonderful AAKK double suited in a double board bomb pot against @Marc Hedrick pal Jason. He was all in for $8 or so on the flop of QJ2 and KBlankblank on the bottom flop. I ended up with broadway up top and a set of kings on the bottoms for the scoop. Fun night of 6 way action.

Trust me, if you get a group of Chinese people together, they will scream loudly when playing (or even discussing) *anything*.
Vietnamese people too. When I was younger and my friends would come over to hang out, they would see my dad socializing with his friends and would ask me if my dad was mad.

Went on a little harvest trip for Danny and ran well for a few hours. In for $500, cashed out $690 with a rack of $5s and a few barrels of $1s in my backpack. Helps finding decent shape chips when everyone just wants to give you their stacks. My neighbor was up around $500 as well and after he asked why the hell my stacks were all weird and I explained I was sorting out the good ones, so he started trading me barrels from his stack to sort through as well.

Help a brother out. That's a good brother.

Hero is expanding his horizons. Drove over two hours to play PLO with a poker friend from the old days. ⁰Friend had to go into work and everyone in the game wanted to play hi-lo.

Hero is outside of his element. No experience with hi-lo. Still holding his own.
