Didn’t get one at the end. In for $400, out for $715.

Escaped a trade show in San Diego long enough to get in a session nearby. Jamul was a clean modern casino with a nice little 10 table poker room. I had a nice run at 1/3 for an $860 profit. They even had an hourly give away promo and some decent BBJ's to dream about.

Where’s your trade show at in San Diego?

Sorry…not a live stack, but played 1-2 at Tropicana in Atlantic City tonight for the first time in ages. I haven’t played live casino poker since before the pandemic.

In 200. Out 220. Not great, but not bad. I’m happy with how I played for a few hours. Won a few good hands. Lost some dumb ones I should have let go.

As Mike McDermott said “I felt alive for the first time since…” and it’s true. Felt great to be playing live casino poker again.

To be clear, I wasn't in the hand. The winner happens to be the luckiest man in the greater St Louis area. A few of you have met him. @EnjoyLife
All skill baby! My thought was the guy with 44 is that he plays like Alan Keating and bluffs so much. The guy with 77 called the all in with less chips on the table. He plays a lot of hands and likes to play his flush and straight draws. I felt that he could have a higher pocket pair than my 8s, as he called my $10 preflop raise, but he didn’t have enough to cover the all in from the 44 guy. I felt that I had to call with the chance that I was only winning the side pot. I actually didn’t like the quads on the board, as I figured I just sucked out on the main pot, but the guy with the 44 (who didn’t show his hand yet) surely has a higher card than an 8.

All true. 44 usually shows up with K high bluff in those spots.
Still lucky...  :)
