Anyway, bought in for 600, then in 2 orbits lost 500 to another short stack . I Had AJc, UTG, I raised, then raise by the button w/AQo, flop was AJ4, I lead out and bet pot, BTN calls, Turn is 8, I lead out all in, button calls., and says you must have AJ, River Q. cardz are shown, button says, He knew I had AJ, but thought he could catch up. Ya for me. we've all heard that story, players says I know I am behind, but call anyway.

Made Day 2, and am in the black with the payouts. But on the second to last hand before we broke last night I lost all but 6BB of my ~25BB stack.

Got it in pre with my QQ to a slightly smaller stack who had already shoved twice out of the previous three hands. He had AK, board ATKxx. Needed a Q or J. Grrr. Probably the book says “fold everything and take the bigger stack to Day 2,” but I got greedy looking at those two ladies.

Finished 137th out of 1,183 entries, didn’t last long Day 2 with my third-shortest stack… Can’t complain about the $4K payout. Had a ton of fun once I got moved Day 1 to a hilarious table!
