Networks hate OT or anything that messes with their planned schedule. Also why college football changed to you have to score TD’s after the third (I think I’m not a big CFB guy) possession.

I would much prefer to see NFL adopt the college OT format and they probably will after back to back years of OT like last night.

Also one other point in addition to the squib kick at the end why not run the ball before the two minute warning and run the clock down to 2? I know the pass was supposed to accomplish the same thing as it was in the middle of the field but it was incomplete and they compounded the issue by Josh running out of bounds on the next play.
This year, college football went to two point conversions after the second OT.

Come on man. I am a proud member of Bills Mafia too but I can still jump through a table for Cincinnati. They did help end our playoff drought. We owe them a little support right now
Sure, I'm for Cinci. I legit didn't even know they won.

Actually the networks love OT or extra innings as long as they can air more commercials. Commercial pricing during live sporting events are usually a lot higher than regular programming. Not sure about NBA or NHL, but for sure NFL and MLB. Also post-season draws premium pricing as well. The NFL does limit the number of commercials networks can air during each event, but don't think that is the reason for the OT rules.

Gonna be a long night for the Rams. The Bungles will beat them to within an inch of their lives.
