I will have to measure them, why do you ask? Some questions:
1. For the 3 or 4 or 8 narrow spots (1, 5, 1000), what are the inner and outer angles?
2. For the 4 or 6 wide (20, 25, 100, 500, 5000), what are the wider and narrower angles?

I see four footballs on that 49ers chip - Love it! Count me in for GB for your project. Thank you for all your hard work on revisions!Set is looking very cool ... I just can't stop seeing the 49ers which I guess is fitting for a Cali set
Me too. Im in for this. I prefer the cali 5000. But the new Vegas 5000 is better than the original.Totally digging this concept for a tourney set.
I believe there have been a couple group buys of the 43mm Sunfly hybrids, including last year's Mountaintop casino set. I'd be willing to wager that a want ad in the classifieds would yield a sample set of some kind, so you can get a feel for the chips. From what I understand, samples directly from Sunfly are costly, due to exorbitant shipping charges.I'm REALLY digging every design on here. I'm most interested in a Vegas color cash set.
As a chip n00b, is there a way to get samples of these? Are they modeled after a certain existing chip that I could handle (one of the POLY lines on the SunFly website)?

How well do they stack? There are no commercially available samples/chips that use the 43mm/25mm hybrid blanks (the mold was created specifically for a past PCF group buy). However, it has been used several times since, and quite a few chips have been produced on the 43mm HB005 mold with 25mm recess:
and at least one or two others.
- Atlantic City Boardwalk
- Havana Room
- Mayfair Club
- Woody's Card Room
- generic TOURNAMENT
- Pete's
- Mountain Top Casino
Some of the above designs mimic high-end plastic chips; others mimic high-end clay chips. Some are available in both 39mm and 43mm versions, which although similar in design, are significantly different in actual use due to weight and surface friction differences.
Sun-Fly / Apollon sells 43mm Polyinno/hybrid chips (Everest), but those are produced on their original 43mm hybrid blank (HB003) and do not share the superior handling characteristics of the newer 43mm blank with snaller recess.
That's very helpful. Thank you very much. Do we have pics of the sets in this mold type?Imo, the 43mm/25mm hybrid chip outperforms every ceramic chip on the market -- superior feel and sound, particularly. And slick plastics are no comparison whatsoever. They really are a unique segment of the market.
I currently own about 20 sets total. Only three chip types are represented in that group by multiple sets: Paulson THC mold clays (9), TRK scrown mold clays (3), and Sun-Fly 43/25 hybrids (3).
Look through the Mountaintop group buy thread in the Group it sub-forum.That's very helpful. Thank you very much. Do we have pics of the sets in this mold type?
Long stack is looooooongYeps.
