Sunfly?? Has anyone bought here?? The PolyClay looks cool. (1 Viewer)

Pretty affordable compared to high end chips. I’ve got single table tourney sets left for sale here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/post-oak-poker-club-sale-live.60231/

As you probably know, the rule of thumb in chipping is always get samples first! I’ve put together some cheap shuffle stacks here if you’re interested in getting a feel for them: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/sunfly-polyinno-shuffle-stacks.65696/#post-1318871

I hate coming off like a salesman here. But I genuinely think this may help since you’re interested in sunfly chippies!

Best of luck in your search. It’s hard to go wrong with anything PCF has to offer! :)

Edit: BTW, @K ALL IN 9 has a set of 43mm sunflys from the recent group buy for sale here:

You will hear us refer to them as sunfly "hybrids", since they have the ceramic chip with the clay inlay (or sticker). People here tend to like the 43mm a whole lot more than the standard 39mm. The 43mm stacks easier and is a little less slick than the 39mm (seeing as how the 43mm has more surface contact area than the 39mm) but I have no problems with my 39mm. Definitely something you should get samples of before you make a real purchase.

Sunfly hybrids? Nope, never heard of them. :cool

Sun-Fly's polyclay ceramics chips look, sound, and handle better than their flat non-debossed ceramic chips, imo - but require a ceramic print design that is compatible with the clay chip based mold design. They offer several different polyclay mold design choices (including customs, for an extra mold cost).

There are also Chinese vendors offering similar debossed mold ceramic products for roughly half the cost at group buy pricing. Most recent Chinese GBs have been for the cards mold design.

The Sun-Fly polyinno hybrid ceramics are a different animal, with a recessed center section that contains a laminated printed label. The Sun-Fly 43mm hybrid chip with the smaller 25mm recess is the best chip they offer imo (compared to their larger-recess and two 39mm versions) -- it is one of my favorite chip designs, outperforming all other ceramics, plastics, and even some clay chips.

Chinese vendors also sell similar hybrid products for significantly less, although they do not currently offer the 43mm/25mm hybrid version.

Get samples.

PolyClay chips from SunFly have a better quality (better edge alignment and I've never had a single spinner with SF's PolyClay) over the GB Chinese similar chips.
