The new Tangier Tina chips by @Cratty are absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a set! However, I’m facing a dilemma. I already own several solid cash sets and a T100 single tourney set, but I’m itching to do something a bit different and create a high-roller single-table tournament set.

I searched the site but couldn't find any chip breakdowns & tournament structures for a T1000 tournament using 1k, 5k, 25k, and 100k chips. Was thinking of a starting stack of 200k w/20 min levels which is 10x what my usual T100 tourney starts with. Has anyone here hosted a tourney like this and have any recommendations specifically for chip breakdowns and blind structures. Or is there a thread you can direct me to for some guidance?

Look up T1 structures too, a 1k/5k/25k/100k lineup is the same as 1/5/25/100. Starting stacks of 10/8/6 or 15/12/5 for 200k.

This was my blind structure for a 400k starting stack tournament.

Agreed - T1 and T1000 are the same, but with extraneous zeros. Zeros that nobody will even mention. "Raise to 15" not "Raise to 15 thousand."

If you truly want a high roller structure, you need levels with big (but reasonably predictable) increases between levels. For my set using T1,000,000, I start with T500s in play. Make those big numbers mean something, not just zeros that you ignore.

For a base T1K, starting at T1M is not crazy; 15/12/9/7 starting stacks will give that to you with plenty of chips. For a ten person freezeout, T500KBB will be the likely ending point.

Look up structures from the WSOP. Those give a general idea and you can find everything from low to high stakes or tournament stack sizes
