Table Showcase (pics) (23 Viewers)

I am curious was this a table that was found and modified to disguise a newly built table with the top then being able to be placed overtop? or is this a total ground up production? I may be on the look out at furniture stores for this style of table to buy and modify with a secret poker table underneath.... Looks like the perfect solution to the storage issue of what to do and what to store your nice table when not in use.

Looks awesome

It's built from scratch. We built the legs, poker table and made the dining table cover as well to fit snug over the poker table. The skirting on the dining table cover is made to the proper height to hide the poker table underneath. The legs and dining table cover are both solid red oak with a grey stain.

Converting an old table is hard since the apron might not be the right height, and there's usually some hardware underneath the dining tables that might stick out and poke into the poker table.

Dining table covers are a really awesome solution for anyone with storage concerns. If you have a poker topper that sits on a dining table, then you have to store the poker table somewhere when it's not in use. With a dining table cover, you don't have to store anything. When you want to use the poker table, the dining table cover gets set aside for a few hours while you play, then goes right back at the end of the night / morning.

Well, with @T_Chan in the thread, my tables are going to look like they belong here. I'll post them anyway:

Topper with modular rail (like Lt. Dan, it ain't go no legs). Fits in the back seat of a car. (Build thread)

Before and after of my refurbed Craigslist table. New foam and cloth, reinforced around the hinges. Matching the pattern over the two sides was a fun challenge.

This is one of the coolest tables I’ve seen!

I built this table last fall so I could have a third table at a charity tourney I've run past three years. I finally finished editing the build video I did of it last night. It shows the process pretty much start to finish. If you've got 20 minutes to kill, give

This one is for myself.
1st time I have ever had non-matching tables in my poker room but it was time for a change.
I am 51/49 that I will not like playing on it, I think the center will be too busy for me.
Good thing @T_Chan talked me into doing it and guaranteed my money back if I didn't like it.

This looks sweet!
Diameter?
What are the symbols around the blue outside?
Thanks! Table is 60”. They are a patern consisting of the casino cancun sun, 4 margarita glases stem to stem, 4 sombrero mustasche guys (from the casino cancun blue button), and four maracas (from casino cancun avacado button). My wife designed it. We went with groups of 4 for icons because I didn’t want them to look oriented in one direction on the felt. The circle table shape is a bit tricky for that.

Dude those "shape clusters" look amazing!

Wife got me the table as an early Father's Day gift. Added the LED's. As the table folds, I used two strips that can be controlled by one remote. The pics still show the battery packs (didnt want cords on the ground) and the strips. I ended up drilling a small hole through the side and brought the strip under the table and then covered the hole with electrical tape that matched quite well... The battery packs are velcro'ed underneath so they can be removed and emptied to avoid a battery leak...

Looks great! Next step, refelting, then deeper cup holders, then a complete rail replacement.

...and you thought this site was only going to make you spend money on chips :sneaky:

Thanks and LOL! I want to do a poured epoxy table with floating cards and chips but that will be after the kids are out and I have my game room. In the meantime I will tinker with this foldable one

So a little late in posting this awesome creation by @T_Chan but this bad boy is installed and ready for action. I am on the hunt for some chairs that don't cost as much as the table and will do this table justice, but that will probably be impossible to do. Tony has an excellent customer service, excellent attention detail and overall made this table my lifetime purchase. I know the reviews from other speak highly of him as well and I hope anyone on the fence will jump over. This table is the centerpiece of the basement and everyone has been commenting on the quality. that old busted up Walmart fold up can be seen in the background in one of the pics so the upgrade from bucket of rust kia, to the Rolls Royce of poker tables. This is 9 footer with 10 man seats. his new cloth is excellent and allows for easy pitch of the cards form one end to the other.
