Gorilla filed a frivolous lawsuit vs Chanman tables, claiming that Gorilla held the patent for in-table USB chargers. I find that level of "competition" to be vulgar, disgusting anti-competitive bullsh*t.

I cannot support a builder - even one that is a vendor on PCF - once they decide to use lawyers and deeper pockets instead of skills to try to match the competition.
Wow, that’s nasty. Weird how they don’t go for Raychee, etc… but the small time business on a poker chip forum.

I think I was one of the last tables built by Chanman before he had to stop with the in table chargers. I’d never buy a gorilla table after hearing they filed a lawsuit. Tony does it better than anyone.

Compared to Raychee? I don’t know too much about him… but Raychee is a multimillion dollar company with much more products than just poker tables. I may just be making myself look like a dumbass but it’s still scummy. Big time or not.

Okay, maybe Tony is not flying around in private jets, but a lot of people aren't aware of the demands of his commercial clients. His expertise was in so much demand that he had to suspend taking custom orders from private individuals for nearly two years! Thank goodness that recently he's been able to take orders again for delivery in a reasonably foreseeable time frame, but the line is getting longer.

Yes, the GG C&D letter was pure bullshit. Worth a boycott.

Seriously. I’ve been thinking about getting a custom table in the near future and they effectively lost a customer before I even knew who they were! Good on them!

Chanman table arrived. Because I just had surgery, it took a few days before I could assemble it, but that's what good players are for. One stopped by after work and set it up for us.

Once it was all assembled are put the topper on (to assure proper placement in the room). Since the topper is well above my allowed-to-lift weight limit, the first hand wont be dealt on it until Saturday. :(

Unbelievable job by @T_Chan and @Bloo_Design!

I love how those grapes turned out. I had quite a few people asking about those cup holders as well once I had shown some photos of them. The Electric blue you chose was outstanding!

Something unique for this table. We used "day and night" acrylic for the raised rail. The acrylic is black when the lights are off. Duca Chestnut leather for the rail, walnut claw toed feet with columns and star decorative nails.

Really nice color combo that the customer chose.

Plus a solid walnut drawer. The front area is wrapped in the same leather as the rail.

Made real difference! Surprised by how much of an impact it made

@T_Chan do you know what this acrylic/diffuser is called? Or do you sell it by itself? I am building a table and cannot find this pattern‍

We had that custom CNC cut back in the day. It was blue acrylic with grooves cut into it which I filled with black silicone. It involved a lot of taping.

Hey guys,
i wanna build own 3-5 tables for my tournaments with a friend of mine, who is a well talented carpenter.

I just have one question: where the hell do you purchase stable table legs?
i hate to play on those shaky tables and I want to build very stable ones.

Here at 00:16 there are some legs, which I would love to get to buy, but i cant find anything in this direction
they seem very stable!

You got any recommendations for me?

THANKS a lot
Flux

PS: Sorry my weak english, Im an Austrian guy

I have used numerous legs in my builds. The cheapest (while still being sturdy) were from buying a couple tables from IKEA, taking the legs off, and throwing out the table tops (actually used them for some shelfs, but that's a different project).

The same can be said for any used table. Look at how the legs are attached, and it doesn't matter the condition of the table top.

In all my builds (3 poker tables, and 2 workstation tables) the legs are the most expensive part of the build.
