Those look really good.
Those look amazing. Did you use a forstner bit and drill press to make those trays? Cnc for the top lettering?
I wish I could take credit for these lol, but they are being made by Big Slik Poker Tables. I do know the top was done by CNC router
Probably the wrong meme to use here, unless you want your beautiful chip boxes to explode in a hail of laser fire.

I've been wondering that, myself... but I think a big round-nose router bit is more likely. You can do 20-chip trays with a forstner and then cut the block in half, but these are so long that i can't imagine the bit running straight all the way. And imagine how tall the press opening has to be to fit that whole slab of wood PLUS the very long bit!
Beautiful stuff, Mr. Tree. Beautiful stuff. And I deeply appreciate people like you paying craftsmen who still make beautiful stuff.
If I remember correctly he actually reclaimed wood from an old building that was being demolished
Really cool Tom! You going to showcase them at the meet-up?!
Love the case and outstanding craftsmanship, but need pictures of chips in case
Give me a few days! Eric just took these pictures before shipping them out so they aren't in hand yet [emoji26]
So all of this is just a big tease.
Outstanding. I am going to assume they have been shipped in a such a way to guarantee being displayed next week yeah?
Yeah I was thinking about that too after seeing how wide those trays are.
Slik does good work! The wood has a cool reclaimed farmhouse look. Perfect for the hitching post theme.

Mr. Tree, any idea what kind of wood that is?
