Teddy KGB chips from TR King (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

I need your expert advise about how much my chips are worth in your opinion.

These are the very last Teddy KGB full clay molded by TR King. I bought the last series before they closed ten years ago.

I know they are replicas as the ones used in the movie "Rounder" where from ASM.
Anyway i thing these are very rare and above all mythical.
They are new, perfectly unused in the original TR king's carton boxes.
I just keep a set for my use.

Here are the figures:

Red $5 x800
Dark Green $25 x700
Black $100 x400
Trop gold 25cents x100
Dark Blue $1 x1000
Lavender $500 x200
Yellow $1000 x100

Total 3300 chps

Edit: I guess I didn't read this very carefully, given I was lying nearly unconscious on the floor. It isn't clear that you're actually looking to sell any...just get an estimate of their value. Due to a conflict of interest, I decline to comment Seriously though, very cool chips! And a HUGE stash!

Wish there were more quarters to go around.

I would have liked a small set with 100 .25, 100-200 1 and 200-300 5. But I don't think I have enough "resources" to acquire them.

Omgosh. The largest set we knew of out there was not even 1000 chips. There only ~6000 of these ever made. You have more than half of these. Crazy. I would love to add some racks to my set, but I know for sure I could not buy them all

I wouldn't be surprised if the estimated value cracks $10k for the lot, and certainly could crack $10k if sold in multiple, playable sets. 3300 mint TRKs in original box - Rounders or otherwise - is going to be a hot commodity.

Actually if you are interested in a trade, i would be willing to trade my Kings Crown set plus cash for a set of the same size.

So for recent purchase prices, I picked up my cash set luke 2 months ago for ~2.50/chip and honestly I think I got a steal considering these never come up for sale and only 6000 were ever made. I think considering looking at prices nowadays, and the scroll mold hype and final table about to air, I can see these going for 10k. They used to sell for 3.50/chip but that was before, and by rack. In the 7 years I've been chipping, I've only seen one playable set come for sale and that was 2 months ago. The ones I bought

I don't think you are going to get a market price, because these are never available. You may be able to get numerous offers via PM, but I think an auction would be your best bet for sure if you are looking to sell.

I agree, split in several cash and tourney sets, in bulk they will not fetch the same top dollar

I usually like bigger sets than this, but what about 2 tourney sets of 500 chips each, as follows:

200 x $25
150 x $100
100 x $500
50 x $1000

That would be a pretty awesome 10-man $10k starting stacks with a LOT of chips, at 20/15/10/3 starting stacks, and enough $1k to color up all of the $25s (and $100s if you wanted).
I love starting with a lot of chips.

I think the cash set sells for top dollar as a whole. Perfect breakdown for .25/50, 1/2 NL and limit games.

As for price, yeah, I think you'd have good success at about $3/chip. I imagine you'd have some sales at that price point (y) :thumbsup:
