Teddy KGB chips from TR King (2 Viewers)

And for those of you with a TRK itch and less-deep pockets, I do have a killer hotstamped mixed casino set for sale. I'd keep it, but I have like 4 cash sets now, 3 of which are TRK. [/threadjack]

2 auctions are online and won't be removed unless admin sees a problem with them

When they are finished, i will see the result and put the other chips to sale.

I keep one tourney set in spare if some buyers want to complete their set, the price they paid per chip.

I was debating on buying the lot at $3/chip considering I picked up a 600+ cash set for ~$2.50/chip. I really wanted a tourney set too. But, I'm out of this race. GL
 
Yes I was thinking of making an offer for all of the chips. But I have eyes set on another tourney set. These are awesome chips and I hope you sell for a great price (it would increased my sets value as well) but I just bought a "new to me" car last week and can't spend what I was willing to before

I Never understood you made firm offer for all the chips.
Sometimes i dont understand everything that is said.
 
No i never did send a firm offer. I was considering it, and really only wanted the rack of fracs, and a nice tourney set, but would have kept all the chips. But, I didnt send a firm offer, because I was not sure what they would really go for realistically. I think you will make more by selling separate sets, but it is a shame to see them get broken up.

We still don't know if this 3400+ chips is part of the ~6000 from the groupbuy, or in addition to those purchased through the group buy. NBK Said somewhere he picked them up from Apache that was selling them. The only reference i have for these chips is the 2+2 thread about them

It's not clear if there were 6000 ordered total from TRK or 6000 on top of whatever Apache ordered when they used to sell them. I would assume that the 6000 were ordered by just teh people in the groupbuy, and apache would have had a separate amount ordered.. but ASS-U-ME....

I just know i've never seen a playable set come up for sale, so when they did, i bought them. I didn't ever think they would come up in this number. Part of their rarity is that the groupbuy was not through CT, but 2+2 so nobody really kept track of where they all went.

I believe @Nbk said that he bought them directly from TRK, not through Apache. My assumption would be that these chips are no part of the 6000 chip group buy.

I bought From tr King. Understood it was an order never fullfilled by the buyer.is it the 6000 i dont know... tr king closed just after. I was fan of rounders i took all, a little less than 5000 i think.Made 2 sets, one for me one for my friend... I was thinking that trk made the chips for the movie lol. As I was very involved in the explosion of the French poker scene with newborn online rooms, poker travels, live games etc I was thinking I would use the remaining as prizes for events. I have even thought of giveaways chips by chips. But I made other plans that is why they remain untouched. Most cartons have even never been opened.
For the story my personnal chipset was once used by french singer, wsop bracelet winner, to film an educationnal dvd.
That s the story...
Are they part of the group buy because they never fullfilled the order? Are they another stock. We will never know?

Unless you or somebody else goes directly to the source and asks Dennis O'Neill. I'm sure he knows how many were produced. Paz may know, too - he's a wealth of TRK knowledge.

Anyone willing to sell 1 $100 chip? I bought a sample set of these and either lost the $100 or never got one in the sample set. Thanks.

Your logic is correct, but the post is five years old. Wanted ads would be the most direct way. Alot of the chips here have moved hands a few times or are locked up and the owners will deny there existence while they shuffle them in a dark unlit room.

Yep, but I didn't want to make several classified posts as I have several different chips I'm looking for. I figured try here first for the Rounders and then post in the wanted for everything else under one post. But instead I'll just post over there. Thanks.
