After flopping a nut boat, turning a bigger nut boat but then losing to runner runner straight flush, I might quit poker too.

People are constantly throwing barrels at flops that seem like they miss board after big pre raises. Matt and ruxin and everyone have made me numb to it. We had $25 sitting in there, and he threw $25 more. I’m on a flush and low draw, and 9/10 people are too scared to throw another bet on the turn. If I think I’m getting two free cards, I’ll toss out $25 with this hand.

At the turn for $75, I’m willing to draw for the low, maybe get lucky hit an ace. We’ve been gambling a bit. Not saying it was a great call, but I’ve definitely seen much, much worse play happening in these games.

I didn't even look at the betting, so not sure if your play was right or wrong. I just know that being on the other end of it might make me quit poker.

Get back on that horse! I’ve now had quads over quads rivered against me twice, and one straight flush rivered over my top FH once.

But yeah, I’m with ya. I was a little short with the kids for a minute after one of those losses.
