Between a week long eclipse road trip and the compressed work shifts to make up for said trip, the many week long backlog of mail (beyond bills and car registration notices) had some goodies waiting for me:

One of the Zanzibar chips (with the "correct" place name), live hundreds from @greenchip and @djmarc to fill out those unnecessary parts of my collection, a couple Money Trees (again to fill spaces), upgrades to my Horseshoe collection (almost done??), more Vegas ones, and a couple matchbooks as I already have one of the chips from there.

It's a problem, and a problem I'm OK having. Collecting is fun and hurts my bankroll less than playing poker which I'm only barely OK at!


[EDIT] The Casino del Sol/Casino of the Sun single is weird pull. That's my "home" casino, where I first cut my teeth playing live poker, but somehow never collected a $1 while playing. I have a $5 and a $2 drop chip from there, but when collating the collection a few months ago realized I didn't have a good $1. I popped in a few weeks ago and sat for maybe an hour and realized 1) the rake/jackpot pull there is ridiculous (I knew, but this trip confirmed) and 2) the chips in play now are beat to shit. I had to defer to eBay for this one, but that's OK as I don't have to go back to the casino if I don't want a kick in the nards.)
