Returned from work to the Horseshoe $25k chips I bought from @tigon 's classified. These join the half-barrel I got in an eBay auction about the time I bought those which arrived the day I left town.
These will serve as the very top end of the PCA/Empress tournament set that I have. One more step closer to this mythical "chipping nirvana" folks talk about here.

First quick few shuffles and handling, the cards have that same thicker somewhat stiffer feel to them compared to Desijn or even the Broken Arrow setups. I expected this going in on the purchase but I dig the artwork. I can’t compare them to Fournier or any other plastic cards since I don’t have any.
Fair, appreciated. My apes have liked that type of sturdier card but going to wait a bit before getting the new types.
Do you value not getting arthritis?

Yeah. I rotate in the faded spade multi color deck for a few orbits before I swap back to either the Desijn or Broken Arrows but that’s mainly bc I handle the dealing and like to rotate in a few decks a game. If you have a Faded spade setup already I’d agree to wait unless you want different artwork
